Pepper rocking his cold weather socks. They stayed on for about 5 minutes before he got fed up with them.

And here's one I found from when he was a puppy. He wasn't happy after his bath and showed it by refusing to look at the camera.

We had to say goodnight to Heimdallr last night. He had developed some large tumors on his liver and spleen which led to him going into liver failure. He's was not in any pain but feeling incredibly sick. We were going to see a specialist tomorrow morning but I just couldn’t put him through it. We consulted with his vet who said that the news would not be what we wanted, so he fell asleep in his favorite place, wrapped up in his mums arms. He has had such a hard time over the last 12 months we couldn't put him through anything else. He will leave a hole in my heart that will never be filled, I'm just glad he is at peace, and now he can keep watch for invaders at the end of the Bifrost for real

Ah, man - that is truly heart-breaking. I hope you and yours are bearing up OK. Glad to hear he didn't suffer in his actual passing, and that he was in a place he knew, accompanied by loved ones.

They're buggers for that, Keith. Mine likes setting up camp on my back. She'll come and pretend to want a cuddle, then right up there. She's got into a habit of trying to fall asleep on my arms while I'm playing XBox as well. Or sitting on the tv shelf in front of where the speedometer is on screen while I'm playing TSW. 

@WyattSheepMask sorry to hear about your boy's passing. It sounds like he had a long, happy life and got to go in his favourite place, peacefully with his loved ones around him.

Bailey and Buddy look like they are trying to hatch a plan here. Quite what they have in mind, I haven't worked out. Maybe trying to steal some real sausages, rather than the plastic ones that Bailey has gotten a hold of.

Thank you everyone who has taken the time to respond, especially the person who PM’ed me. 
I knew it was going to happen, but even then your never quite ready for it when it  does. 
He had a great life though and despite the issues he’d over the last year, never lost the gleam in his eye.

Valkryie (his younger sister, my other Bernese) has been looking around the house trying to find him and I have to keep telling her he’s had to go away for a bit. She’s spent a lot of time cuddled up to me and then remembers she has a squeaky crocodile toy, which takes up a lot of her time at the moment.
