Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted September 8, 2016 Author Paid Members Posted September 8, 2016 Joe Manganiello to play Deathstoke in Affleck's standalone Batman. http://variety.com/2016/film/news/joe-manganiello-deathstroke-batman-movie-ben-affleck-1201855046/ I saw that quick edit sheepmask, tut tut :-) I would've liked to see a big old star like Kurt Russel or Tom Cruise, Manganiello isn't even 40 yet. I like him though and he's a solid choice for a younger more physical movie version. Quote

Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted October 6, 2016 Moderators Posted October 6, 2016 (edited) I watched the first episode of Luke Cage today. Thought it was good fun. Some fantastic music in it, although also some really odd musical cues at a couple points that didn't really suit what was going on. Edited October 6, 2016 by Chest Rockwell Quote
Paid Members chokeout Posted October 6, 2016 Paid Members Posted October 6, 2016 It's a theme throughout the series but the good music ( and some of the musical references and quotes) really outweigh the bad. Quote

Ian 86 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 I had no idea this was due out today but fuck me it's brighten up my otherwise dull and fairly stressful day. Roll on March... Quote

CavemanLynn Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 What a trailer. Love the idea of two of the most charismatic actors around Mad-Maxing and getting beat up on a quest. Is the girl X-23? That fucking music though. I was welling up by the end. Quote

Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted October 20, 2016 Paid Members Posted October 20, 2016 The Logan trailer is bloody glorious. Annoyingly so too, because the other Wolverine films did nothing for me. I hate that I'll have to see another one, particularly if it's another dud. Quote
Paid Members quote the raven Posted October 21, 2016 Paid Members Posted October 21, 2016 (edited) More love for Logan trailer. I may well cry if they kill him off in some massive battle to save that little girl. Its even more tragic because it seems everything he did in days of future past was for nowt.....they all still died... "Nature made me a freak. Man me a weapon. DJM Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Steve Dillon, co-creator and artist of the Preacher comic has died. Quote
Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted October 22, 2016 Paid Members Posted October 22, 2016 That sucks. I'm in the middle of getting through the Preacher books at the moment and it actually ignited a big interest in various other books as well (am also in the middle of reading Transmetropolitian and DMZ). So, yeah, sucky. Quote
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted October 22, 2016 Author Paid Members Posted October 22, 2016 http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/deadpool-2-loses-director-tim-940672 Unfortunately Tim Miller won't be back to direct Deadpool 2 after unspecified creative differences with Ryan Reynolds. It's a shame, Deadpool was a labour of love for both of them. Replacing a director seldom works well and a bit of the magic might be lost. Quote
