jimufctna24
Van Clief was indeed in his 50's  Initially, he was denied entry from the tournament for being too old. However, Van Clief and some of his students showed up at the UFC's head office, and deployed some intimidation tactics. They clearly worked. Moderators PowerButchi Posted March 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 16, 2016 Best part is definitely Tank's respectful showing to Big John of what Matua's doing, thus guaranteeing that the exponent of Pakua Chan gets the quick medical help he so clearly needs. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted March 16, 2016 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) Matua actually went onto fight 4 more times after the Abbott fight, he went 1-4 (just saw they are all on youtube as well). Â I'll never forget seeing UFC 6 for the first time and being equal parts excited/scared by Matua's ommission that he was schooled in the art of Hawaiian bone breaking. The pre-fight stuff was usually more interesting that the fights themselves back in the day. Edited March 16, 2016 by Ebb

Paid Members Egg Shen Posted March 16, 2016 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 16, 2016 anyone catch WSOF last weekend? Â Justin Gaethje did it again, him and Brian Foster went in and threw down and as always it was Gaethje's opponent who dropped. It was wild but technical, Gaethje has developed a crazy leg kicking game. As much as i enjoy seeing him in the WSOF, he needs to make a move to the UFC. I don't know how far he could go due to his recklessness (but he does have a legit wrestling game to back up his striking), but there's some many great fights you could make for him. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 17, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted March 17, 2016 Abbott vs Severn is an amazing prospect in 2016. A fat old bloke with a beard vs a old bloke with a tashe is enough to make me watch this thing. I'm 90% certain Tank will have a heart attack as well. Marshmallo
They should get Scott Ferrozzo in. Or alternatively just show his promo from Ultimate Ultimate 1996.  $$$$$$$$$

Holy Fuck. Someone's in trouble. Edited March 18, 2016 by seanz25
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 18, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted March 18, 2016 These things are always going to bomb massively. They never work. Anytime you pack a card with names and hope you get your money back at the live gate and on the paid viewership end you're already fucked. Rey and Kurt are famous names, but its not like anyone is gagging to pay to see them wrestle in 2016. These wrestlers and fighters are getting paid way above their going rate as well. Which must make Ken Shamrock cry at night having to pull out of what would have been his biggest pay day in years.
