Merzbow
That reminds me I should go through Snuff Box again some time, and has there been many great sketch shows since then? That Mitchell and Webb Look was decent but not near that level at all.
Farrington
Â Just a heads up, series 3 of People Just Do Nothing has started, available on-demand and online every Wednesday (episode 4 today) with them being shown the week after on BBC2 (episode 3 tonight). My girlfriend was an extra in this. That is all. On the chance of it being Decoys new missus from this weeks episode I say well played sir! Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted September 9, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 9, 2016 Same here. Never watched an episode and watched the lot about 2 months back. Absolutely brilliant show. Cant believe I didnt watch it at the time. Liked Toast of London as well. Matt Berry is class in everything. The Fredo episode is cripplingly funny. kidkris
If anyone on here enjoys the Comedy Central roasts I fully recommend the new one roasting no other than rob Lowe aka number 2 from Austin powers. Â Some of the roasters are shit but Jimmy Carr and Jeff Ross are truly brutal and tear everyone apart. Â I really enjoyed some of these roasts, the Charlie sheen and James Franco shows never fail to make me chuckle
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted September 9, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 9, 2016 I want to see Ann Coulter get fucked up. Also, I'd like to see her get slated in this roast.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted September 9, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 9, 2016 I hate those celebrity roasts generally, but the Franco one was really good because the people on there were actually his mates and are actually funny. Â The other are all just people reading really harsh insults that were written for them, aimed at someone they don't really know.
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted September 9, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 9, 2016 I like the old Dean Martin ones, because they are a bunch of well-lubricated old pros. Been trying to wangle a tour of the Friars Club for years, but it's not easy.
Paid Members Monkee Posted September 9, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 9, 2016 Currently rewatching Band of Brothers (again!) as it's the 15th anniversary of the premiere today. It's just as good as when it first came out - hasn't aged in the slightest.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 9, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 9, 2016 Jimmy Carr's joke about Pete Davidson's Dad who died in 9/11 was the best one of the night.
kidkris
Jimmy Carr's joke about Pete Davidson's Dad who died in 9/11 was the best one of the night.Mate I laughed so hard at that then found myself feeling really ashamed at myself for doing so. As soon as I read Jimmy was on there I knew he would bring the darkness  What did you think of David spade's opening roast? Personally I found it quite good
Paid Members waters44 Posted September 10, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 10, 2016 Ive just been checking my upcoming recordings on my Virgin box and noticed that on Only Connect next Monday one of the teams are called "Wrestlers" and are wrestling fans - anyone on here? SuperBacon
The James Franco roast is one of the funniest things I've ever seen... Â Just looking on iPlayer for something, and a programme featuring Purple Aki "The Man Who Squeezes Muscles" is on there and looks brand new....is this a new programme indeed? Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted September 12, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 12, 2016 It's an old-fashioned chat show, like Wogan.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted September 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Annual rewatch of The Shield. To the surprise of no-one who's called me, it's still one of the greatest shows of all time. I'd probably go top 5 in my eyes, top 10 at least. Walton Goggins is the MVP. He's just so absolutely fucking great in everything. Edited September 14, 2016 by PowerButchi
Paid Members Nick Soapdish Posted September 14, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted September 14, 2016 As I couldnt find anything in the search, I watched Stranger Things over two nights with "Myyyyyyyyy Wiiiiiiiiiife". Thats something special isnt it? What a cracking show, especially if you love Amblin 80's stuff. Really recommend it.
