Watched the first series of Benidorm on the Sky box set. We watched it well beyond it's peak so I was ind of intrigued as to whether it was ever any good in the first place. I've really enjoyed it. There are some good lines, pretty well rounded characters and it has a nice formula with the first half round the pool and the second in the club.

I've downloaded series 2 & 3 so I'm interested to see quite where the quality drops off. I think it's after series 3 where it became ultra-repetitive and they just parachuted in old TV faces like Sue Pollard rather than writing anything good where it all goes to shit.

Peter Kay's Car Share is far better than it has any right to be. While his stand up is poor, he's still a fine comic actor. It's low key, but it's really warm and I like that in my sitcoms.

I'm going to give this a go tonight. I don't think his stand-up is poor either. Bit dated bu his original stuff was decent observational stuff. He seems like a massive cunt and he's irritating as shit as himself but I still like his stand-up. That's in spite of he bits of Facebook that aren't racialist nonsense reading like a transcript of his shows.

Re-watching Arrested Development with my wife who has never seen it before. She is loving it and we are already on season 2 10 days after we started to watch it. It still holds up and Tobias in his Blue Man get up never fails to make me smile

I've just started on it with my wife as well as she has never seen it. Really pleased me to see her loving it straight away and I'm really enjoying seeing it again after so long, even though I've seen it all through a few times..

We also started watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.. It's OK. Getting consistently better as it goes on, and I'm willing to stick with it. It's had a few very good moments.

I watched the first episode of this. I really liked it. Agree on the low-key. 25 minutes of it is just idle chit-chat that is warm but real and kind of funny. There was one moment of funny slapstick and a dream sequence that I found amusing. Really good start I thought. Kay is very good but the woman was great too and they had good chemistry from the off.

Final episode of Inside No 9 is tonight instead if tomorrow for some reason. Loved every episode. I've been watching the first season again too and they've definitely turned it up a notch in the second season (The first is still pretty great mind)
