Glass Smash
Let's play darts for Comic Relief has been quite a fun watch, but surely the BBC could stretch the episodes to 45 minutes or an hour instead of skipping most of the legs during the matches. Mr_Danger
Has anyone kept up with Fortitude? I was about to give up as it was a bit too 'ITV police drama' for my tastes but the last episode kept me interested and opened up a few possibilities for where the series is going. Â I'm guessing that the teacher who is feeding up his girlfriend has brainwashed the murderer kid and is probably planning on Hannibal Lectering his girlfriend. Looks like some sort of prehistoric plague will break out as well probably just in time for the first load of tourists. Not sure what the story will be with the police chief but he's very good in this. Â In summary, needs more Gambon.
Guy Bifkin
I was quite close to giving up on it too but as you say, it has got going last couple of episodes.  My dollar is on the young girl. Maybe those anti-psychotics were hers?
Hounds Of Justice
Just watched the first episode of season 3 of The Following, picks up nicely where it left off, looking forward to seeing how this goes.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted March 4, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted March 4, 2015 I'm still watching Fortitude, really enjoying it and it's started to get really interesting. It's making me want to start getting into some Nordic Noir.

Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted March 5, 2015 Awards Moderator Share Posted March 5, 2015 Watched Casual Vacancy last night, Onyx - if it follows the book at all, then   things are just going to slowly build and build and build until it all implodes, and the shockwaves affect everyone you saw in that episode quite significantly. .  Thought Rory Kinnear and Michael Gambon (and the actress playing his wife) were great. Finally opened that spoiler after watching the last episode and realised it didn't really spoil anything!  I thought it was shit.  Some really great performances, in fact all round, but the story didn't resolve in any satisfying way at all. And maybe I'm just old but the ending was a real downer. People that went through a journey trying to do the right thing ended up dead. Rich people got richer. What was the point? Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted March 5, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) House Of Cards season three was...a slog. Really wasn't up to the standard that seasons 1-2 had set. Far too much Doug, Claire and Remy and not enough Frank being Frank. The Russian president was great, though. I hope Putin is like that in real life. Â Better Call Saul continues to be good stuff. Keith Houchen
Posted this in the gig thread too but has anyone else bar me and Mike been watching Reginald D Hunter's songs of the South? It's similar to the BBC4 Rich Hall docs but not as good. Still, excellent viewing  http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/p02j93lq
patiirc
Been catching up on The Good Wife series Six, seems that it's missed a step from last season. Not sure if the move away from Lockhart Gardner or something but it's definitely missing a beat somewhere. Alan Cumming is still wonderful in it as is Matthew Goode. However, it just feels a bit cold and empty and Collinder's machinations have gone from being fun to just plain dull.. Hope it picks up or can see me ditching it
Paid Members Nick Soapdish Posted March 8, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted March 8, 2015 Just discovered Toy Hunter on Quest. As an 80's/90's kid from the UK this show is like porn to me! The stuff I have discovered from toy lines I had that I never knew existed is awesome!
Undefeated Steak
Just discovered Toy Hunter on Quest. As an 80's/90's kid from the UK this show is like porn to me! The stuff I have discovered from toy lines I had that I never knew existed is awesome! It's a fantastic show. There was a great episode with a shit load of old WWF merch on it recently. Hogan showed up on it to sell a figure from his collection. Well worth looking out for.
Paid Members FLips Posted March 8, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted March 8, 2015 Keith Lemon's Sketch Show is much funnier than it has any right to be. It's not on Fast Show levels or anything, but it's actually decent.
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted March 8, 2015 Awards Moderator Share Posted March 8, 2015 It has the occasional great flash of character - Hairy Lairy Bikers, or Dickinson's raspberries - that make me think with a different script team Leigh's character quirks could be hysterical.
