It’s just such an odd deal, but weirdly I get it from the sellers’ point of view. McNeil won’t start for us unless we get a few knocks and I’d expect the same for Johnson. The most frustrating thing about the last 48 hours is what looks like an inevitable move for Munoz to follow Johnson to Everton. He’s 30 and surely his next move is his last big one, and he’s not only choosing a sideways shift, but to a team/formation that will never, ever suit him. He needs to play in a 5 at the back for any team to benefit from his strengths, but if Moyes thinks he’ll fit in as a right-back, he’s setting him up to fail from the start. Cue the boooos. Mind you, he’s a mercenary who missed out on the Copa America final because he elbowed someone in the heart, so you can tell him he’s crap at defending if you want. I’ll get the popcorn. Quote

As for Dwight McNeil, I wouldn't want to see him in one of those forward positions if I was a Palace fan, but I think he could be decent cover at wing back at Palace Quote

My guess would be Spoiler Giggs and someone, I just don't know who! Can't be Keane as he didn't join United until after the 92/93 season. Closest I’ve gotten is Spoiler Keith Gillespie and Dion Dublin who both played for United in 92/93 (not sure if ever in the same team or in the league though) and were at Leicester City in 04/05. I assume using Google and Wikipedia to research prospective duos is allowed. Quote
