HandsomeButchIII Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Well, we didn't get Kairi, and I think that's Asuka done. The John Cena Classic sounds awful. Like "I'm a wrestler, keep me in here". Quote
SteveBlamey Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Kit Wilson & The Miz Vs Danhausen and Mini Hausen. Was it entirely stupid? Quality wise worst match on the card? Yes and yes. Did I enjoy the hell out of it? HELL YES! The live crowd seemed to enjoy it as well. The perfect little match that played to it's ridiculously sill strengths with all involved knowing their roles on the totem pole perfectly. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted May 10 Paid Members Posted May 10 So to be John Cena Champion you have to wrestle a bunch of matches then regardless of whether you win or lose the fans get to pick who is the winner of the whole thing? Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted May 10 Paid Members Posted May 10 Oh, to be Seth Rollins in Gorilla, checking himself out in the dirty mirror. ”This is cool. I look cool. I am definitely cool.” Nope. Thankfully his night improved from there and he didn’t make himself look even stupider by badly screwing up Will Ospreay spots. Man’s such a loser. He should give Nick Khan another 25% of his salary. Yes which is great because they can make Seth wrestle 50 times and then make Minihausen the champ. Quote
Chili Posted May 10 Posted May 10 So they're creating a Wins and Losses Don't Matter Title and they've sacked off Road Dogg? Rude! Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted May 10 Posted May 10 (edited) If you want a perfect microcosm of Danhausen's WWE career to date, last night is pretty perfect. An insane booking decision that you'd be forgiven for thinking was conceived deliberately to have the crowd turn on Danhausen (building a mystery partner for a few weeks, only for it to be a nobody clone feels almost comically antagonistic), only for the cheeky scamp to pretty much turn it around by charm and lack of ego alone. It's not great stuff, so he's not quite at 'turning chicken shit to chicken salad' level, but he's certainly turning chicken shit to a tasteless, nutritional paste that can at least keep you sustained. Chicken shit to Huel, the Danhausen Story. Huelhausen. Edited May 10 by d-d-d-dAz Quote

DavidB6937 Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I loved the Danhausen stuff simply because I knew the overreacting on social media would be hilarious to read after. "WWE is dead!" "I cant believe what this company has become!" blah blah. Granted, some of it is blatantly clickbait nonsense but still. As others have said.. objectively is it good? Probably not. But he has enough charm to make it work. It's harmless mid card fodder. If he's up in the main event doing the same shit then I think you've got a case for it being too much. But as something for the kids to enjoy (and me sometimes) I think there's a place on shows for something like that. Especially if he's proving to be popular, which he obviously is. Rest of the show was solid I thought. More match focused and an easy watch overall. Glad Bron and Jacob are in good positions as they should be. Quote
Merzbow Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Danhausen going "SHIT!" in to the camera after the little dude pops out makes up for the probably ShatGPT written idea, tbh. Quote
Paid Members mim731 Posted May 10 Paid Members Posted May 10 I feel like they missed an opportunity when they put Mini Danhausen back into the cloning machine not to have someone massive come out of it as giant Danhausen. Decent enough show overall. Nothing wildly memorable, but not awful either. Quote
