How long was the Wrestlemania that had HHH and Reigns in the main event? Because that felt longer. Probably because it was one of the worst PPVs that’s ever been put on.

4hrs 50 ish. I can remember bringing up the time at on the network when Shane v Undertaker was about to start and that was right in the middle

@LaGooshthe concussion Cole got was him doing the old Rikishi Clothesline Bump on Collusion. Unfortunately he didn’t turn quite enough and landed on his noggin.

I forgot to mention this, but I love that after his promo in Mexico, Excalibur brought back the fact that a large part of Hangman's story, where he developed his values and morality, was working with immigrants on his family's farm growing up. That's a great repeated part of the Adam Page canon.

Hell yeah. The ultimate babyface in 2025.

“The son of a tobacco farmer who as a young man, worked alongside immigrants, during the summers of his youth. And in doing so, learned the values of hard work, collective action and, perhaps most importantly... respect for his fellow man.”

The whole thing was an absolute masterpiece. You could write a book on it. The level of thought and detail put into it is levels above anything I’ve ever seen.

The video of him watching the sun rise, the return of the old music, the camera having to spin to the babyface side. Excalibur’s incredible description of him. The gorgeous white gear. How fucking violent the fork spot was (you’ve messed with the wrong Cowboy Psycho, Mox!). The way all the run-ins only evened the playing field and absolutely no-one laid a finger on Moxley, proving Hangman could do it on his own.

It’s probably my favourite match ever. He’s my favourite wrestler ever. This thing with Swerve is probably my favourite storyline ever. Absolutely incredible that the same guy who was screaming, “HE CAME INTO MY HOME AND THEY CHOSE HIM!”managed to grow, change, turn it all around and then accept a helping hand from his forever nemesis.

When it’s good, it’s fucking great. This was as fucking great as it’s ever fucking been.

I can't better or even dare to top that, but I love that as a fan, I love that Hangman Adam Page brings a genuine reaction out of me as a person.Literally shouting out loud 'go on mate' at his highest highs and being gutted at him going to a low or going completely mad. He's my favourite wrestler since Bret Hart and I never thought I'd have that emotional connection to a modern wrestler because I'm at most rather casual because I've watched this bunkum for over 30 years. But I absolutely love him, proper fist pump when Mox tapped.

As I said on the day of the event, I preceded my 'evening' of watching the longest PPV of all time by attending a pub crawl for a mate's 40th birthday.

Upon arrival I set my stall out - I'll be going home for 8pm. When asked why, I thought fuck it - I'm going to say I'm bailing out to watch professional wrestling. First time in the 15+ year history of this friendship group I've made that admission.

At some point in the evening,  got asked "So, what's the main storyline going into tonight, then?"

Oh lads, have I got a story for you...

Thinking about framing this in the living room. If I need to make space, it can replace our wedding photo. I’m sure my wife will understand.

I stayed up for that one, and hadn't taken the following day off work - it was right on the cusp of not quite being able to survive on just a couple of hours sleep, but still stupid enough to think that I could, and figuring that I could just lock myself away in a small office and hope that nobody noticed.

I remember looking at the clock, and seeing that it had just passed the time that it was meant to have finished, and The Rock was still fucking about with a flamethrower. I naively thought this meant that Triple H, who with the Daniel Bryan 'Mania match had finally shown that he was still capable of recognising that his role was to be the heel outdone by the hot new babyface, was going to get absolutely steamrolled in record time by Reigns. Instead they went half a fucking hour. Nightmare.

I’ve watched Hangman’s entrance from All In more times than I’d like to admit this week - I get goosebumps every time his original music hits. @LaGoosh had insisted that they would have considered the theme change and said he was 100% sure this would happen…but I wasn’t, so I really need to credit him here.

And I’m kind of glad I wasn’t certain - as it made the moment that theme hit absolutely magical. Genuinely one of my favourite moments of the year - the moment we knew for sure that the old Hangman was back. He’s fucking brilliant and I hope Tony Khan gives him the kind of pay rise that would make Nick Khan and Triple H physically ill to make sure he stays in AEW forever.
