No. The whole point was the old gimmick was outdated by 1998. And Big Boss Man was a fantastic heel in 1998-1999. Big Show feud aside. Quote

Could he have become champion and who could he have fended with? Nah, he would have still ended up in rehab and then having a heart attack a few years later. 14 hours ago, TheScarlettChad said: Big Boss Man was a fantastic heel in 1998-1999. Big Show feud aside. Hey, Paul Wight: you're a nasty bastard! And your momma said so!” Quote
Paid Members BomberPat Posted May 28 Paid Members Posted May 28 what's worse is that this was after Big Show had been Andre's kid, so it's at least the second time his dad died. Quote
Johnnyreggae Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Would Hulk Hogan still have returned for Wrestlemania 9 if Brutus Beefcake hadn't been injured in the boating accident? Quote

The boating accident was three years before. Beefcake's involvement was precisely because Hogan was returning for Mania 9 rather than the other way around, I'd say. Quote
boshealecta Posted July 27 Posted July 27 (edited) I always think “What If Bobby Heenan was alive and still commentating” to the point where I ended up asking Chat GPT to review all his current commentary online then apply it to current WWE wrestlers. (Now I’m not a fan of using AI creatively and it’s mostly slop but the ADHD had kicked in, I couldn’t sleep and needed something to make me smile). Now some of it was rubbish but some made me chuckle (maybe it was the tiredness). Such as it said if he ever commentated on a Roman Reigns match with constant Bloodline interference he would say “I never know with Roman if it’s a wrestling match or Thanksgiving dinner” Anywho if anyone is actually creative feel free to let us know what you think the Brain would say about some of today’s current crop? Paid Members Jazzy G Posted July 28 Paid Members Posted July 28 If Owen did join Bret in WCW do you get an extended Hart Foundation type faction of Dungeon trainees? Benoit, Jericho, Lance Storm when he comes in. Bulldog and Anvil are a given as they were around briefly when Bret went to WCW, extend it to a Team Canada and bring in the likes of The Amazing French Canadians? Do they feud with Eddie Guerrero and the lWo to keep them out of Hogan's orbit? Quote

Do they feud with Eddie Guerrero and the lWo to keep them out of Hogan's orbit? Wasn't there something where Bulldog and Anvil couldn't team up with Bret? Presumably as part of getting their release off Vince? Never sounded right to me but then I suppose Bret didn't really miss out anyway, going to war with NWO Hollywood/Wolfpac/LWO/The Flock etc with just himself and his pilled up brothers in law would've done even less for him than what he got in '98 Quote
Johnnyreggae Posted August 10 Posted August 10 What if The Ultimate warrior had signed a 5 year contract back in 1997? Quote

TheScarlettChad Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Someone on Reddit mentioned Warrior in the Armageddon HIAC. Can you imagine that? Quote
