Cousin Jim Bob Posted August 10 Posted August 10 I'm trying to wrap my head around the absolute field day The Rock would have had on the mic with Warrior. He would have probably stormed out after one promo. Quote

Considering this is the man who randomly wore a baseball cap for the angle where Jerry Lawler smashed him over the head with a painting, I reckon he’d have turned up for Hell in a Cell dressed like Screamin’ Norman Smiley. Paid Members gmoney Posted August 10 Paid Members Posted August 10 Wow, it's genuinely never occurred to me that he wore the hat because he wanted to soften the blow from the frame. I just thought it was Warrior being obtuse and bananas. Quote

Johnnyreggae Posted August 11 Posted August 11 What if davey boy Smith had become wwf champion? What part of his career woud it have happned and who would he have feuded with? Quote
Johnnyreggae Posted August 11 Posted August 11 What if the lex express crashed, caused an accident or broke down and had major problems on the road to summerslam, would the wwf have continued or mentioned it? Quote

BarryOVega Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Warrior would've had Shamrock's ppv match with Michaels in late '97 if he'd signed, lost due to interference from Hunter and Chyna, then stormed out afterwards after realising DX taking the piss out of him being a relic in the build up made him look like a knob Quote

I reckon we'd have gotten one instance of; Warrior rambling for 10 minutes about rocket ships and the power of his warriors Austin coming out, taking the mic and hitting him with something like "I don't understand a damn thing you've said, but here's a little bit of sign language for you" And Warrior would have left. The segment wouldn't get past the first suggestion before Jim walked out. But for morbid curiosity I'd have fucking loved to see The Warrior and Ahmed. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Attitude Era Warrior would've been interesting if Jim was able to let his ego go so they could deconstruct the gimmick and what it meant in the late 90s. Maybe they'd have made him a drug addict who lost his mind after a bad trip or some shit. Quote

Honestly, it would depend on the severity of the incident really. If it was just a burst tyre then I imagine they would have been able to fix it fairly quickly and get back on the road to Summerslam, but if the engine got set on fire then I think they would've had some serious logistical issues. If it wasn't too far from the venue then they could have got the helicopter back and made sure Lex was able to use that to get to the venue, but if it was too far away then they may have had to look into hiring another coach or even a local cab to get Lex to the arena on time. If there had been a serious incident, for example if they had run over a small child, then I think they would have had to acknowledge it on television and do a tribute to the small child. If anything they may have even changed the booking and have Lex win the title in memory of the small child. It also depends on who the small child was. If the small child was one of the staff's children then this would have been more important than say if it was a random child. If the small child was a fan of WCW then this could have gone against them and perhaps they wouldn't have even been mentioned on television at all. If the Lex Express crashed and went into a river and Lex drowned and died then I'd say it's very unlikely he would've made it to the PPV. Quote

WCW - where the big boys don't run over kids! Quote
