The World Champion should never be hiding in the corner pretending to be a cleaner. https://youtu.be/_TCmZk3ZvS4?si=kIr-e36hhxmfJ9XE&utm_source=ZTQxO I think wrestling should have more costumes and sneak attacks tbh. Hangman dressed as Poppin Fresh, Austin as a camera man and a fireman. Some of my favourite stuff in wrestling. Quote

Yeah, pretty much my feelings here. Two good shows made worse by being mashed together in one marathon bloc. I hope they find another way of doing this, next time Collision needs to change nights. 2 hours ago, LaGoosh said: The Unified Championship doesn't really work for me. Terrible name and the Continental title (which should have been a trophy title rather than something that is actively defended) never felt properly established and has basically zero lineage. Again, I totally agree with this. The International title suffered through a name change too, you have two belts there that never really had an identity or obvious purpose; despite the best efforts from people like Orange Cassidy. With that in mind, I hope they stick with the name in the long term, as weak as it is, and establish this as a true secondary title. I don’t even mind if they decide to build on the ‘unified’ theme and roll the TNT title into this one. The Hangman Page stuff continues to be great, but I’m going to keep saying it until it happens - they need to bring back his original theme. The best time to do it is at All In, I accept that, but I really, really hope Tony Khan has this on his mind. Next week should be fun. I’m very intrigued as to how MHF/Mistico will play out, and I’m starting to suspect that Lashley and Benjamin might turn on MJF. I can’t see MJF winning, but I also can’t see him losing cleanly. Paid Members mim731 Posted June 12, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 12, 2025 Really good show overall, but I have mixed feelings about the Okada/Omega angle. The elbow looked vicious, which is great, but the whole spewing up blood thing never looks good, and that trend continues, if looked so goofy and so unnecessary. I get they want to sell Kenny's real life struggles and nearly dying, but that took me right out of it. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted June 12, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted June 12, 2025 I was okay with it but if they had toned down the blood a bit it probably would have looked a bit better. I will say Okada's facials and acting throughout were excellent. In a business filled with heels who play it big, he just gives these little smug gestures which say so much with so little. Quote

I saw someone tweet that it should be after he beats Moxley, but the way they do their build up videos for entrances, I need it before the match, like the one they did with him and the Dark Order but on steroids. Also the idea of Hangman in hopefully a singles match at Forbidden Door, coming out at the o2 with his old theme gives me goosebumps already Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted June 12, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted June 12, 2025 I expected Thekla vs Queen Aminata to be a standard squash but Thekla must have pissed in Aminata's chips before the show because Aminata beat the hell out of her in that match. I like Aminata a lot, it's about time they gave her something more to do. Quote

I like Aminata a lot, it's about time they gave her something more to do. I also saw a clip of Queen Aminata immediately rolling out the ring after the finish and then bascially walking off like she was in no pain . Maybe it's nothing but it came across as though she was sulking at having to lose and was a bit unprofessional. Which if true is a shame because I agree with you, I think she's fantastic. Her stuff always looks great and of course she herself looks great, I'd be pushing her way more. I enjoyed the show again with the caveat of 4 hours just being way too long and something I hope they don't do again. The Dynamite portion in particular was fantastic. A random bit that I really enjoyed was right at the start when they showed Toni Storm arriving at the arena. Just her mannerisms and the smirk she was making at the camera made me laugh and she got a huge pop. It's nice when you can see someone who is really great enjoying how over and great they are. BrodyGraham Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Yeah, Thekla Vs Aminata had strong Ivellise Vs Thunder Rosa vibes. Fair play to Thekla though, she made Aminata look a threat whilst Aminata was busy making herself look a bit of a knob. Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted June 12, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 12, 2025 Women's tag was a bit rough. And Aminata, wow she was laying it in a bit! Main event bored the tits off me. And as a fat man I do have a big pair to lose. Hangman, again, being the best bits of the show Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted June 12, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 12, 2025 Most exciting this about the AEW Unified Championship is that by not calling it the, “Intercontinental Title,” there’s still a chance they’ll unify it with the TNT Title, too. Gotta catch ‘em all, Cleaner! Omega and Adam Cole are friends in real life, aren’t they? A feud with Kenny Omega would do Adam Cole’s career wonders right now. The graphic for Hangman was brilliant. Who else in this business is telling an entire character arc just using graphic renders? He’s the fucking best. This man is healing. This company is healing. We are all healing. I’m going to murder Tony Khan with a rubber chicken if he takes this away from me. Quote

AHH good for them, they're perfect for that in their look to be honest. If anyone is gonna get fucked by petty shit for doing that it'll be Miz. Quote

The new signing with the push comes out first in Thekla. Instead of already being in the ring for a quick intro, Queen Aminata gets the full entrance. Still no rush when the match starts, play up the height difference, both get spots to lay it in and take their time with it. Queen Aminata's coming off that mini-feud with Julia Hart and involved in the ROH Pure rules scene. It does seem more of a beginning between them than an ending. Certainly time for it with Toni Storm & Mercedes Mone monopolzing the titles until after All In. Quote
