Does it really need a 10 man AND a 12 man? Could Tony not have put the latter on Collision?

This is the first time for many to have wrestled in Mexico or new to that audience so I think showing all the big AEW stars is a smart idea personally

Looks a great line-up. Decent way to integrate a load of local acts while continuing their big stories. Intrigued about the Mone result in the CMLL Womens title match.

Protoshita is absolutely dogshit. Wrestling fan fiction nonsense.

I'm disappointed that Atlantis isn't in the big multi-man, considering the entire set-up for that match started with FTR mocking him and then him beating up Dax, with them making it clear that he's still an active wrestler. At least Blue Panther vs. Lee Moriarty should be a brilliant bit of old man lucha.

Looking at the lineup for tonight, I was surprised and disappointed that Kenny Omega didn’t have a match in Arena Mexico.

I’d completely forgotten about last week’s angle when Okada elbowed his stomach out of his mouth. Just goes to show how four hour TV blocks is way too much. Close a two hour block with that angle and I’d have definitely remembered it. Following it with a two hour Collision Chaser and you can barely remember your own name.

I suspect tonight will be a good, hot, action-heavy show. I’m not expecting any big angles. There’s still three weeks of TV to pay off Hangman and Swerve’s Will-They-Won’t-They, Ross-and-Rachel tease.

There’s still time to give me my dream scenario on the go-home show. Game over, Mox! Game over!

A really fun show, lifted significantly by the hot crowd.

Opening with a lengthy Hangman Page promo in Spanish which Excalibur kind of gave up on translating was a risky move as far as the home audience is concerned. I ended up skipping through it as I had no idea what was going on. I maybe wouldn’t have done that one on TV, and either shortened the show or added another match. Ultimately, the appeal to this novel environment was the wrestling, so I don’t think that would have been an issue this week.

The opening tag match was a blast, but why were Atlantis and Atlantis Jr getting booed so heavily? I might have missed an explanation, but it made for an interesting atmosphere, in which the crowds would go from vociferously booing the heels to cheering them on as soon as the Atlantises entered the ring. I enjoyed it, don’t get me wrong, I’m just curious as to what the deal is there.

Also…when he’s not with his pals, I’m beginning to kind of like Adam Cole. It’s partly because he seems so lovely on his podcast, but I don’t think he’s as bad as all that. And King coming out in an ‘Abolish ICE’ t-shirt? What an absolute legend.

Okada/Briscoe was OK, but like every Okada match in AEW so far, it felt a little phoned in. I hope he steps it up against Omega.

MJF/Mistico was enjoyable, but they really should have had Mistico pick up a flukey win. I can’t say the finish felt flat as the fans reacted to it, but I didn’t like it much.

It was a shame that the crowd was a bit subdued for the Mercedes title match, it was pretty decent and I’m enjoying Mone nabbing the belt collector gimmick and really running with it. I’m not sure I want Toni Storm’s title reign to end, though!

The main event was good, but the announcers should have made a bigger deal about Hangman saving Swerve sooner - that was a huge moment, made to feel smaller thanks to some bad announcing. They just treated it like a standard save at first, rather than what it was supposed to be. I also think last night might have been the time to bring back Hangman’s old music. Having the cowboy ride out to that theme to save his sworn enemy? That would have been magic. Still, I enjoyed it and I can’t wait to see Page raise the belt above his head once again, after smashing the fuck out of Jon Moxley.

Great, fun, action-heavy show.

No-one has ever looked more like The Guy than Hangman Adam Page cutting that opening promo in Spanish. My cowboy. There aren't enough rubber chickens on the planet if they don't stick this landing.

Nice to see Adam Cole has got his mojo back. Seems to have finally found the correct shade of fake tan, too.

Brodie King should be a top guy. Just when you think the lad can't rule anymore, he comes out with that, "Abolish Ice," T-shirt.

The crowd singing Mistico to the ring was a really special moment. I assume they rematch at All In, Hair vs. Mask? MJF's MVP-inspired gear is fantastic.

Mercedes having so many belts that she can't carry them is such a great look. I'd pull the trigger and have her beat Toni.

Just when you think Will Ospreay couldn't look more English, him selling last week's attack with the head bandage and black eye made him look like Ken from, "A Fish Called Wanda." Young Bucks should have stuck some chips up his nose.

Fun main event, with an exciting post-match angle. I like that Hangman saved the day but he and Swerve still didn't acknowledge each other. I couldn't take my eyes off them, hoping they'd share a nod or a glance. Greatest love story of our times, watching fate slowly bring them together. Quite fitting that as the belt returns to Hangman and we close the Evil Time Line created by making CM Punk AEW World Champion, it all comes back to Rocky 4. "If I can change, and you can change, everybody can change!"

EDIT: STOP THE PRESSES, BRYAN DANIELSON APPEARED IN A DARK SEGMENT AND GOT PHYSICAL!

Enticing Danielson back with Arena Mexico. Fair play, Tony Khan. Genius.

Imagine if he came back for a match.

2025 AEW is trending to be the best year in company history.

I’m almost certain he’ll be involved in the main event, getting his revenge on Moxley.

I’d love to see him return for a match, but the mad thing is, AEW doesn’t even need him right now. Would AEW be better for having him wrestle again? Probably, but it’s not worse off if that doesn’t happen.

I hadn’t even twigged that his gear was MVP-inspired, but you’re absolutely right!! I could definitely see that happening at All In, and it would explain the odd finish.

So would I, but as a massive fan of the Timeless one (she might be my favourite act in wrestling today), I also don’t want to see it happen. It’s a weird contradiction, but I both think it’s the right thing to do and would also rather it did not happen.

Brody King is a top lad and having your top babyface cut a promo in the areas home language was an inspired idea.

I'm trying to figure out what on earth was wrong with Mistico in his Fed run. Everywhere else I've seen him he's been absolutely great fun. I loved his entrance with everyone singing their hearts out.

Fantastic show in front of a red hot amazing crowd.

Never been more obvious Hangman is the man and should win the title at All In. Opening the show and cutting a promo in spanish? He's so good. He's everything you could ever want in a top babyface. His heel run last year has actually made him come across as an even bigger babyface now, he's somehow even easier to cheer and get behind now than he was back in 2021.

I enjoyed the whole show but the highlights were Brody King showing again what a top man he is  with his T Shirt and that Mistico entrance. I first heard his theme and thought this is an odd choice of song for a wrestling entrance, but it quickly became obvious it's a fucking brilliant song for a wrestling entrance.  Mistico vs MJF Hair vs Mask at All In?

Might sound silly but I'm just so grateful AEW exists and does stuff like this. I hope we get a show in Arena Mexico every year from now on. They're on such a roll right now, even the Hurt Syndicate sold a little bit for the babyfaces!

Toni Storm dressed as Carmen Sandiego and German Suplexing Mercedes Mone so hard her millions of titles fly in the air like Sonic rings was an absolutely inspired moment. 10 out of 10.

I would love for it to become a summer tradition. I get the feeling by Christmas we will be bored of wwe/aaa crossover events, i hope AEW/CMLL keep it fresh by not overdoing it

Only watched the highlights, but really enjoyed what I saw. Arena Mexico looked great and it really felt like it gave everything an extra boost of excitement. Fun main event, and it feels like things are clicking into place for All In. Exciting times.
