Another brilliant Dynamite, and bloody hell, I’m actually enjoying the Death Riders. Moxley’s promo was great, and he’s more than holding up his end of the bargain with Hangman. We already know they’ll have a great match - they had brilliant chemistry during their previous feud - and I’m so glad the feud is as fun as it is.

I assume we’ll see Swerve/Ospreay put their careers on the line to get The Bucks to put their EVP titles on the line, and that both men will immediately relinquish their titles, so that The Bucks can ditch a gimmick that hasn’t worked for the most part and be treated as normal wrestlers.

MJF is working well with Hurt Business, but I’m a bit surprised that his All In match is the Casino Gauntlet. I assume he’ll win the men’s match though, allowing them to pay off on the various interactions between Hangman and MJF over the last while.

Short, sharp mic work is exactly the way to use Mercedes, and I thought she was really good here. I know she’d previously stated that she’d return to WWE one day, but I hope she stays put. ‘Sasha Banks’ was never this good. For me, the story has to be Mercedes winning at All In, followed by a long build towards a rematch, which Toni wins.

Ibushi still looked a bit rough, understandable given his lack of ring time, but I hope I get to see what the fuss was all about sooner rather than later.

It’s amazing how much the absence of Chris Jericho has improved the show. Dynamite has been strong this year, but there was always that shippable segment. I hope we’ve seen the last of him in AEW.

Not too much to add to this. Great summary.

I still don't really like how the Hurt Syndicate turned so abruptly into a forced heel group. I like the act. I like MJF. I just don't like that aspect. Most things in AEW are designed to let the crowd react how they want but this feels like when Vince McMahon would make people try to be heels in their home town/country. The woman laughing after Briscoe called MJF a little dick cracked me up. Her just laughing out of nowhere about 30 seconds later was even funnier. Just an organic little moment of joy.

Was a nice touch having Will & Swerve sell that they weren't ready for the match at the beginning.

A moment of stupidity from me, when Will said they should put the "EVP Titles" on the line, I was like "Not more fucking belts". What a dunce.

Stop letting Speedball talk.

Stop putting the Vanilla Midgets on TV.

Otherwise, the incredible roll continues.

I thought it was just more of the same from Mox. If you like his promo style you'll enjoy it it. I find him forced.

That’s fair - it definitely worked for me, but I can understand why it might not be to your taste. He has a style for sure, but it’s one I quite enjoy.

Kevin Knight quoting the lyrics to MVPs WWE music was AEWs answer to the Cena pipe bomb in that it was weird, really inside and the crowd didn't get it. But it popped me, a loser, so that was the highlight of the show.

I know it was a bit of nothing, but the fact Ospreay and Swerve were still getting ready coming to the ring was such a smart, smart bit of booking. It really popped me. I’m only half way through the show, but I really feel their TV has been delivering for weeks now, beautiful to see.

I thought this was a lovely touch too!

Decent show, as almost always I feel like if the show had been ordered in a different way it would have been an improvement. Two 4 ways back to back followed by a singles was a bit much.

Easy highlight was the MJF/Briscoe interaction. One of those pairings I had never considered but as soon as it happened I was just like of course and it felt like magic.

They are perfectly opposed. The confident, loveable family man white trash maniac. The arrogant, cocky, insecure, lonely rich New Yorker who has to hang with the big boys for protection. I hope this isn't a short TV feud. You could run a big months long story with these two easily. Reports saying that apparently MJF himself has been pushing for a story with Briscoe for ages so I've got a good feeling about this.

You’re definitely right - weirdly I’m the one out of the two of us who is usually more bothered by this kind of thing, but I didn’t really think about it until the main event - as much as I like Mortos, closing with that match felt odd - obviously there ended up being a bit more to it than that, but it did feel like an odd main event at least at first.

I was actually hoping this would be the All In match! I’d love to see Briscoe pin MJF in the Gauntlet, kicking off a longer feud. They clearly had chemistry, and there’s real value in pushing Briscoe higher up the card - he’s great.

Are the winners of the Casino Gauntlet matches getting those shite 'anytime anywhere' sub-MITB bullshit contracts again? I really hope not, because I had a horrible, horrible thought watching this show that All In ends with Hangman dethroning Mox then MJF 'cashing in' on Hangman to get his revenge after decisively losing their match a few months back.

Other than that making me break out in a cold sweat, I thought this was a pretty solid, if not thrilling, Dynamite. Good action all-round and all the big feuds chugging along nicely.

The Bucks saying they would have Swerve removed from the building but them not actually showing this was a nice touch. Adds a bit of ambiguity to Swerve not returning the favour from last week in saving Hangman at the end. Was he not in the building, or was he just not arsed about helping Hangman?

He was suspended effective immediately for a week after he got hold of them after his match.

The only thing I disliked is why Ospreay let his opponent walk around the top rope for 30 seconds while holding his hand.

Took me right out of that match to be honest.

Agree with the rest though, glad dipped back into AEW over the past couple of months its been superb.

Ending with a Hangman main event and a comfortable win seems sensible given who he is. Especially with the post-match angle. It's only strange because they had a bit of a habit of writing off the last 45 minutes but seem to have changed of late to bookending the shows again with a strong act. They could do a miles better job of letting you know that it's coming. They generally do a run-down and a lot of coming up next spots but a Hangman main event should be hammered home several times, with promos.

I thought the running order was otherwise good other than the back to back four ways. Should definitely have done one earlier.

I thought it was a little weird how both Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight spoke about how the tag titles have been held hostage when The Hurt Syndicate have been pretty open asking for challengers. They've got quite a few teams mentioning the tag titles now so I'm expecting a 3 or 4-way at All In for them.

Collision aired last night, it's available now on Triller:
