I preferred WCW to WWF around that time but that was absolute bollocks, they never even decisively said it was a shoot match, just hinted at it in the build up and on commentary, Schiavone or Hudson saying Nash and Steiner would have to improvise because Goldberg had ignored the script was honestly the worst thing I’ve ever seen in wrestling (storyline wise, not all the deaths and rapes etc) Quote
Dai Posted May 1 Posted May 1 (edited) Its a travesty that the Goldberg/Steiner recap vid is the belting Fall Brawl match, and then three 5 minute TV matches. Considering they were there together from 1998, then its a massive shame thats what it amounts to. WCW Vault uploaded this bizarre match today. Sandman vs Nash. Its 1999, its Thunder, and its The Sandman. But for some reason this means Nash goes mental and allows Hak more offense than what he did for Goldberg at their Starrcade match a few months prior. Not just offense, but some rather nasty looking hardcore bumps too. Strange to see Hak be allowed to get 5 minutes of heat on Nash on a random Thunder episode. Fun match mind. Looking at the last 4 uploads on the Vault channel you can tell when our regular Vault guy is off for the bank hols and his shite substitute takes over and starts uploading Miz matches. Quote
