The joke was always they feuded FOREVER and always clashed in Rumble's etc. They split in 1989 and last interacted in January 1993. It's a span of about four years. I love the idea of you applied it to Seth & Roman. Then Tito & Martel split at Wrestlemania V and had a big rematch at Summerslam 2002. To think Shawn Michaels comeback would have been completely overshadowed. Quote

There's a crazy serious, then dangerous, then funny but ultimately so entertaining it makes you a face bent to the whole thing that actually feels very modern, but MJF, Jericho et all couldn't hope to pull if off this well: Quote

Rossman Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Saw this on the WCW Vault and thought why did they put this squash up. Macho Man v Evan Karagias on Thunder in 1999 and then I watched it. Mach comes out decked all in black. Leather boots and trousers, sparkly shirt three sizes too small. Flat cap on backwards and shades. He doesn't take anything off to wrestle. Karagias has got on knockoff Adidas swimming trunks with "outrageous" sewn on the arse. The ref is taller than him. Savage does a bit on the mic to start, then he hands it to Karagias to have his say. He's shite, absolute flat as a pancake. But at this point, he's literally a jobber, so nothing is expected of him. And it's great Mach is giving him a shot. They have a bit of back and forth with just the one mic they're passing between them. In the end Karagias is fanboying over Mach and telling him how great he is, and that he will beat Dennis Rodman at the next PPV. Savage starts the beatdown and gives Karagias a good hiding. Karagias does mount a comeback with a dive to the outside and Mach's shades are gone. Snapped in half, but one of the arms is still on his face. Mach hits the top rope elbow. He's 47 here and it still looks good, except young Karagias is the crash pad for it. Savage goes for another one, Miss Madness comes in and tries to stop him. He jumps anyway. Mach goes after Mona. The ref starts white-knighting and jumps on Savage's back to stop him. He gets piledriven to the mat. Mona escapes. Karagias gets hit with another top rope elbow drop. Mach counts 1-2-3 into the mic. The flat cap is still sitting proudly on his head. Quote
