Paid Members Gus Mears Posted November 10, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 10, 2024 Things you can't stand and there isn't a justifiable reason for the level of hatred in your heart. I start with exhibit A. Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted November 10, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 10, 2024 Cillian Murphy Never seen anything with him in, don't even know what he sounds like. Maybe it's because I associate him with Peaky Blinders but every time I see him, specifically if he's trying to look cool with a fag in his mouth I think what a cunt. Quote
Paid Members JLM Posted November 10, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 10, 2024 I think the memes have done a lot of damage there. Facebook dads wanting everyone to know what tough guys they are love a bit of Thomas Shelby. Misunderstanding the media as they have with Fight Club, Breaking Bad, Joker and many more. Quote
Mr_Danger Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Especially Cillian Murphy who ironically didn’t even know what a meme was and was completely unaware of his various ones. Quote
Dr. Alan Grant Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Timothée Chalamet Josh Hutcherson. Dylan Minnette. They’re obviously not bad actors (well, maybe Hutcherson is). I’ve enjoyed films with all of them. But I still can’t stand them. I think it’s just their faces that annoy me. If ever there was a film with all 3 in, I’d probably have to leave the planet for a while. Quote

Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted November 10, 2024 Moderators Posted November 10, 2024 Chalamet is pleasing faces thread material for me. It's so uniquely unusual. He looks like some crazy alien bug Quote
Harry Wiseau Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 I think I mentioned it years ago but my nan used to absolutely hate Alan Titchmarsh. She didn't mind him when he was just in gardening programmes but then he progressed to presenting things like Pebble Mill, Songs of Praise and I believe he even had his own early evening chat show and she couldn't stand him, would turn the TV off wherever he was on and say he should have stuck to gardening. Paid Members gmoney Posted November 10, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 10, 2024 Have we got a people you can't stand looking at thread? It's not hatred, but I feel ill looking at Eddie Redmayne. It's not his fault, obviously, but he looks like a cross between Phil Foden and that 'How very dare you' Catherine Tate character and I have a very visceral reaction to him. Quote
Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted November 10, 2024 Awards Moderator Posted November 10, 2024 Steve Bruce, Holly Willoughby and Daisy May Cooper. No. Get off my telly. No. Quote
RedTwoster Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Sarah Paulson, and specifically Sarah Paulson crying: If she’s in something, I’ll rarely watch it because I know there’s a good chance she’ll cry. It cuts through my eardrums similar to the way the sound of a dentist’s drill does. It might actually be the worst ever noise. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted November 10, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 10, 2024 She was good in Deadwood but she didn't cry in that. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted November 10, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 10, 2024 I don't remember her crying in Run, that was a really good movie. Quote
