A fan of Oasis tragically fell to his death during the band's concert at Wembley Stadium this past weekend. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was seated in the upper tier of the London venue, approximately 170ft above ground level.

Despite immediate attention from police and paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday, August 2.

Another concert-goer witnessed the horrifying incident as emergency services attempted to revive the man after his fall.

The witness recounted: "I was directly underneath in section 211. At first glance, I thought it was a coat falling from the above tier, but then I looked and saw the dude on the concrete. It was horrific to see."
The Metropolitan Police confirmed their attendance at Wembley following reports of a man sustaining injuries at 10.19 pm on Saturday, reports the Daily Star.

Upon arrival, they discovered the man had "injuries consistent with a fall".

It is anticipated that the police will notify the Health and Safety Executive, potentially leading to an investigation into the death.

A Wembley Stadium spokesperson said: "Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service, and the police attended to a concert goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall.

"Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died.

"Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.

"The Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. Tonight’s Oasis concert will go ahead as planned."

The band is yet to release a comment on the tragedy that unfolded yesterday evening.

Saturday's concert marked another sold-out performance for Oasis, their fourth at Wembley Stadium.

The Britpop legends launched their Live '25 Tour in Cardiff in July before returning to their hometown of Manchester for a five-night run.

Christ, that's horrible.

Didn't they also say that the reunion was one and done last time as well? Presumably somebody's just got another massive tax/alimony bill that needs paying.

That's true. They don't need to put any new stuff out anyway because stuff from Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory probably gets played so much they've made a million pounds in royalties before they even get out of bed every afternoon.

They're at that age where really putting anything new out is pointless as it's just a heritage act thing now innit. Plus, they can tolerate doing a live show, not a chance they'd get through the recording of an album.

They only have to put up with each other for the couple of hours a night they're performing. They'll be travelling separately, in separate dressing rooms. The won't see each other until right before going on stage. Liam didn't turn up to the venue until 20 minutes before stage time anyway.

What about the billionaires of the world? Surely they're more of an issue than a few people that like to go to gigs.
