We been following the story about The Salt Path? I'd never heard of the book but read this article and it's pretty astonishing that a huge selling book was made into a film and released before all of the backstory came out. This Walker/Wynn lady has played an absolute blinder selling the book and film rights to the story if the facts that their house was repossessed because she's a thief and that he husband's CBD is non-existent are true. A grift legend.

It wasn't just the original grift either, the embezzlement, that makes this so fascinating: it's the fact that they were pulling yet another grift by trying to get people to buy their publishing house's sole title by promising a prize draw for their house that was already being repossessed!

I’m kept up to date with the full on soap opera by my other half. You could always see that the bloke is a truly despicable cunt. Apparently she’s better now she doesn’t have him with her but I’m told they were still churning out their content even in the wake of her poor son’s suicide. I think the last video I saw of him was him being put under anaesthetic for his tummy tuck and crows feet and it was equal parts pathetic and disturbing. I've generally ignored his recent stuff, as he's just on a cycle of repeating the same things. His recent surgery was to try and correct the bargain bin surgery that left his eyes wonky. He's gradually losing all his platforms, as he's using the same accounts to post his "Dad and Vinny travels" and "Here's my cock, go subscribe to my Only Fans".

She's trying to reinvent herself as "the nice one", but she can barely go a week without the mask slipping, or something she'd hoped was buried comes to the surface again. She's every bit as bad as he is, she's just a bit better at hiding it.

They’re both appearing to have had mid life crisis’ since Sonny’s death (Lucy’s son), I stopped watching their stuff after the constant need to explain or push their side of things in the wake of it instead of taking a complete and utter absence from all socials and the whole shebang about the OF stuff and break up seemed to be the final straw for a lot of their followers

In a nutshell.....

Started out doing "savvy meals" (ie: how to mix pasta and a jar of sauce together with a few extra veg for £5 or thereabouts) during the 2020 lockdown, and built up a following.

They used the Tik Tok creator fund, along with donations from their followers to fund IVF and a sob story in the papers that this was their only chance at having a child, forgetting to mention that they already had four kids between them. 
He had a son, that he'd disowned at the time for being gay, and a daughter that wanted nothing to do with him (allegedly because he was physically abusive to her mother).
She had a son and daughter that had been raised by her mother. She eventually reconnected with her son (Sonny), but publicly announced that her daughter was dead to her, after she came out as non-binary. 

IVF son was born, and they set up a special members area where fans could buy exclusive photos of him. Depending on which day you caught the RightGuys, this was either because they were loyal, or because they were perverts. Whatever, they're paying either way.
They had a christening party at Flamingo Land, where Mark and his mates got coked up and started fights with staff. While this was going on, Mark livestreamed the chaos, and asked his fans to call the police for him, before changing his mind and insisting that every member of security was amaaaazing,

Money was good at this point (although not as good as they were making out) so they reinvented themselves as travel bloggers, going on holiday every other month, treating the viewers to such gems as whether or not the room had a kettle, how good the English breakfast was, and all the things where they didn't know what they were.

This is where it starts to fall apart. Much of their Tik Tok following was built up by just randomly inserting themselves into other users drama to get notoriety. They would livestream where he was either coked up, or drinking whilst on his anti-schizophrenia medication and would lose his temper at the drop of a hat. She would usually be pushing his buttons to get even more wound up, and on a couple of occasions he actually went out looking for people that said things in the live chat that they didn't like.  One Tik Tokker shared a voicemail where Mark threatened to stab him in the face.

They claimed that they were moving to Dubai. Then Australia. Then Dubai again. Then Cyprus. Dubai's amaaazing. Everyone should go. If you don't go, then you're obviously not working hard enough, because you would have gone if you could afford it. 

In addition to the savvy meals ("Mushy pea curry? It's amazing!") they also started doing "prank" videos, which were largely just Mark humiliating Sonny while she filmed. Eventually they fell out over this, and they kicked Sonny out, who moved in with his girlfriend. Mark's gay son was suddenly forgiven, and they started sharing videos of him on holiday with them, with captions about "real family", all while they encouraged their followers to troll and bully Sonny and his girlfriend. 

This eventually got too much, and Sonny killed himself. Ever the opportunist to make some cash, Mark went out to do a livestream from the tree he was found hanging from, whereas Lucy just went away for a holiday with some of her friends.

Realising that they were losing followers because they weren't looking too good, they started claiming that Sonny had killed himself because his girlfriend was cheating on him, that she was pregnant from another man, and that she'd fraudulently taken money out of his account after he died, and they set their minions on her once again. Due to various threats made against her, she didn't attend the funeral. 

Other social media types started criticising them and the shitshow they'd caused, so they retaliated with lots of doxxing, sometimes not even the person that criticised them, but members of their family that they'd managed to find details of.
Mark would openly offer money to anyone that would provide addresses for people he had issues with. Most notably was Tik Tokker Gingerella, who he sent a cease & desist letter to, using a template he'd found online that referred to US penal codes, but was more to let her know that he'd found out where she lived.

A few more money making schemes came about, notably Mark trying to get as fat as possible, so that he could get weight loss surgery for free from the Turkey surgery that did his teeth, hair transplant, and botched his eyes.

It then all went to shit when they decided on their wedding anniversary that they would set up an Only Fans page. They booked a hotel, filmed themselves shagging in a hot tub, and also uploaded a video of herself. This didn't go down well with the old faithful followers that had been with them since the days of the savvy meals, and had turned a blind eye to most of their antics, mainly because they were making short videos of themselves promoting their Only Fans with IVF boy sat with them.

What happened next is a bit of a mystery, as the story keeps changing. Basically they split. Mark disowned his son again, who is now best buds with Lucy. Mark says that this is because he told Lucy to leave him, but also claims that Lucy told him that she'd decided months ago that she didn't want to be with him, which is obviously why decided to make a load of porn with him. 

So yeah, it's a trainwreck.
