One more match!  One more match!  Is there any way they could build that for a PPV in the modern era, or is that well completely dry?  With Cena being semi-unretired you do wonder what PPV matches he'd be interested in doing.

I think they've convinced themselves that was the previous era's Rock/Austin, so I could definitely see them trying to run it as one or both's retirement match.

Considering Orton/Batista/Cena were the three intertwined major stars, I don't see any of them as being any of the others major rivalry. Cena, for me, is Edge, Punk and JBL; Orton is Christian and Foley; Batista is probably just Triple H.

I don't get any Orton/Cena love, or any revisionist suggestion it was a huge deal. They didn't gel at all.

I think the company are convinced of that too. As it happens, despite their million matches between 2005 and 2014, I'd still be interested in that match happening again today as I think both are much wiser and it would be completely different, and unique.

Some things are meant to happen. Hunter's last match should have been with Rock, Flair's last match should have been/should be against Sting. Same deal here.

What’s even more interesting is the song doesn’t come up on their artist page, you have to actually search ‘Cult of Personality 2023’… like they’ve uploaded in advance of a full release to coincide with something.

Funny if they’re just getting in on the wheeze, though. Lol.

Twitter is going to be absolutely wild this weekend.

or their label have put it out because, I imagine, a lot of people have been listening to it over the last year or two, so they're cashing in with a new remaster.

Every chance you’re right, but god I hope he does come back because the receipts people are going to come back with for the extreme rationalists to chew on are going to be immense.

Whichever way you slice it - and I’m broadly in option 3 of ‘don’t really know, don’t really care’ - there’s no denying that releasing that the weekend of Survivor Series, in the current climate, is both a huge coincidence and going to generate a bit of chat.

At this point, I think he could be walking to the ring on Saturday, with his new remastered music playing, and some people will be online saying ‘well, actually, he could have just bought a ticket and that’s the quickest route to his seat.’

Honestly I am so so so hoping that he does come back for however long he lasts just because my God it would be so good and make TV exciting again on the road to mania

Book it for me. Because I don't see who you put him in a program with.
