Natalie Elphicke, the Tory MP for Dover who wanted to criminalise abortion in Northern Ireland and suggested that Dr Marcus Rashford missed that penalty in the final because he spent too much time trying to get free school meals for kids, has defected to Labour. She got the job after her husband stepped down from the role after being charged with sexual harassment.

Another Tory defected to Labour at PMQ's I'm not sure what sort of Tory bastard Natalie Elphicke is but if they keep defecting at this rate we will have a General Election in no time.

She's defected based on broken promises? What Labouresque promises has he made? His promises were about reduced immigration and shipping a load of people off to Rwanda. Sounds like some cunt who's defecting now so she doesn't go down with the sinking ship.

She's announced, just like the last defector, shes standing down at the next election. I guess the political optics are that they are disgruntled and its a vote of no confidence in the party/leader. But I don't think it is a victory to voters, of anything its a negative to Labour support.
