It’s anyone who wants to do business. He’s said he’s open to working with any company or talent. Sure, the focus has been on those two, but not exclusively.

Well, yes, but he wouldn't be doing business with WWE if it was Keith Lee, for eg. Signing a free agent isn't opening the forbidden door, it's signing a free agent. Christian wasn't opening the forbidden door when he signed.

The forbidden door has been historically used by AEW to refer to people who work for other companies coming to them for a bit.

Both Impact and WWE talked about Mickie going through the forbidden door for her Rumble entry this year.

As much as we need to be careful using WWEs use of it as any authority on anything considering what their branding is like, Mickie was an impact talent and champion before, during and after the rumble, so I think that's still within what I'm saying.

Can we all agree the absolute worst case scenario for Wednesday’s Dynamite is Killer Kross?

No. It'd be Will Osprey. Or Bray Wyatt.

At least with Bray Wyatt I’d understand the business justification. Killer Kross offers absolute nothing, besides maybe Scarlett Bordeaux.

Kross has been doing interviews, thirstily begging for an AEW contract. It’s a bit sad.

I presume it’ll either be Lee or Gargano.

But, have to reiterate, I’d love it to be Cody. Cody, Khan and Brandi as the AEW Authority would just be superb for all the Twitter meltdowns it’d bring.

I assume it's Jeff Hardy; Matt's been referencing him in promos more often, it's a ladder match qualifier, and it's against one of Private Party, so it will set up some dissension in the Hardy stable, with Matt eventually turning face and reuniting with Jeff while the others stick with Andrade. Gives the Hardys a run of tag teams to face before, presumably, getting a big PPV match with the Bucks.

If it's not Jeff, I'm hoping for Samoa Joe.

He's burnt his bridges elsewhere, the daft twat.

Other that Osprey an authority stable is possibly the last thing I want to see in AEW, especially involving Khan who is awful in front of a live camera.

I don’t disagree.

But, then, I think they’d be truly, truly despised. It *could* be superb, in a ‘crikey, look how wound up people are’, Vickie-Guerrero-At-her-worst way

Cody, Khan, Brandi and Kross as the enforcer.

No.
