Just one of those guys I assumed must be in (during the earlier years when the likes of Heenan, Iron Sheik, Santana, etc. were being inducted) despite having no memory of it. Has it ever come out why he's not in? Seems a bizarre exclusion given he's part of the extended Samoan family, seems to always be spoken of highly in interviews, and never seemed to be on bad terms with the company. That was quite shocking reading that. I could've sworn that he was in - but yep, you're right he's not. No idea why, as far as I know he's on good terms with them and wasn't involved with any lawsuits. Perhaps they're just holding him back until they're short on legacy names (he's still younger and more active than many so has a few more years hopefully to actually be there in person). Not wanting to get into all of the debates about who does/doesn't belong in the HOF, but Haku definitely does for a pretty hefty run in the 80's and 90's, plus his WCW work and later WWE appearances. boshealecta Posted September 17, 2025 Posted September 17, 2025 Not today but in the last few years (and I’m so forgetful that I might have even posted in here about it before but I can’t remember) I always thought the razors on Razor Ramon’s attire were yellow pieces of cheese (those with the holes) and that’s why he talked about ma-cheese-mo. I though his whole gimmick was cheese and never took him seriously and couldn’t understand why he was being pushed so much when he was just all about being cheese. It’s only in my mid 30’s I realised they were just yellow razors. Quote
JoeManco7 Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 https://x.com/IANdrewDiceClay/status/1968392305351528685 That Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't want to have anything to do with Hulk Hogan. To many of us, they were big icons of our youth and who else imagined a Wrestlemania or Summerslam match between the Hulkster and Arnie? The easiest match up would have been Arnold in full gimmick as The Terminator and in the mid to late 1980s it would have been just another monster heel for top babyface Hulk Hogan to overcome. But if it happened when Terminator 2 was released, with the reprogrammed T-800 and Hogan's popularity diving in 1991, then it might have been more like Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania VI or Sid Justice at Wrestlemania VIII. He was often just too powerful for Hulk Hogan as I used him with a moveset inspired by Big Van Vader, Sid Justice and Scott Steiner. It was only when I eventually got the Bret Hart WWF Hasbro Series #4 and worked him against B.A. as if he was wrestling Diesel at Survivor Series 1995 that it would get beat. Paid Members Statto Posted September 18, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 18, 2025 The Terminator played the role of Diesel in my figure fed - the original fake Diesel, perhaps. He'd occasionally join Egon Spengler & Peter Venkman on commentary (Ray & Winston were the referee crew) on the basis he also hinged at the hips so could sit with them in the commentary booth made from a peach punnet. One of my favourite Ghostbusters toys. And it was called Tombstone Tackle, so it had a tenuous Undertaker connection. Makes it legit in my book. Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 That could be a whole other discussion, using other toy lines with your wrestling figures I always used the Ghostbusters Fright Features Ray and Peter and the silver and black mech suit Spider-Man as my referees and had my red MMPR and Zeo rangers figures as a big man/little man underdog tag team (the original PR figures were smaller than they would be later on) Quote
boshealecta Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 Did people use other toy lines as those characters in their federation or pretended they were WWF wrestlers? I was the latter. So my Batman figure was Ted Dibiase because it was like he was in an all black suit. My Ghostbuster Ray figure gave me a look of Owen Hart. And Raphael was round and in red so he was Yoko. Obviously Marge Simpson was Miss Elizabeth Quote

The promotion that was him, me and all our mates, he “booked” with his Mask figures. Although weirdly this promotion also involved Stone Cold, Mankind and The Rock. Quote
Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted September 19, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2025 I had the Last Action Hero version of Schwarzenegger in my fig fed. Finisher was a choke slam. I believe he and Hogan had a few matches. Quote
Merzbow Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 I had the greatest 90's toyline invade my wrestling fed, I remember getting a few of these Alien figures unboxed from somewhere and let's just say not even Bear Hug Hulk Hogan could stand a chance against them. Quote
Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted September 19, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2025 I used these tiny Thunderbird figures as commentators. I must've done the 'despicable heel puts Brains through a table' angle about 90 times. Poor bloke. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted September 19, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2025 Cyclops was a hell of an underdog babyface in my federation. He wasn't allowed to do anything with that laser beam, obviously. Quote
