I don't think this season is reminiscent of every season for the past 15 years, but there are definitely parallels between this and 2008 & 2011- when we also had very young squads. I don't think we capitulated as badly as we did then

Yes the difference will be how we move forward. Wenger very much didn't add what was needed and we fell away and players left. I don't think that will happen now given the noises from the club.

The one silver lining of europa league football (besides the fact that we actually have a chance of winning the thing) Is those group stages were brilliant indeveloping players. Patino, Omari etc now will get a chance.

Who knows, Saliba might even get a game!

Everyone bracing themselves for the biggest St Totteringhams Day celebration ever? I demand scenes that make Mardi Gras in New Orleans look like a two year olds birthday party in Barrow, for the streets of Woolwich and Plumstead to resemble an Olympics opening ceremony organised by a candyflipping Kevin Dunn, and at least seven fatalities.

I find Spurs fans' weird obsession with Arsenal moving from Woolwich over a century ago to be absolutely bizarre. I barely think about Spurs outside the two times a year we play, and certainly not what the club was doing over a hundred years ago.

EDIT: Should point out I don't mean you are obsessed, Raid, I appreciate you're making a joke. It's more in general it seems to be quite a big thing for Spurs, and I find it baffling.

I blame an annoying mate who only refers to the club as "Nomads" or "Plumstead Pikeys." I'm from Birmingham, so I don't genuinely give a shit about that element of the basis of the rivalry. I find the bold part a bit odd though, surely you piss yourselves when we lose 4-0 to Wycombe in the cup?

Also Spurs were technically a Middlesex team up until the 60s, so North London was ours first.

Technically Spurs were a cricket club first, so we should probably be targeting a completely different set of teams for rivalry.

For me, I just don't really care about Spurs that much unless it affects Arsenal. In fairness, the amount of time I can dedicate to football is massively diminished due to various other commitments these days, so that might be me rather than more indicative of Arsenal fans in general.

I can honestly say I wish nothing but the worst for Spurs. Them getting to the CL final was horrendous, and I celebrated incredibly when they lost that final. I also have nothing in my life, so there's that.

The part of north London that Arsenal are in is still historically Middlesex, though.

I think you should always have room in your heart to laugh at your rivals misfortune. Will Everton beating relegation ruin my day? No, but I’ll laugh like fuck if they go down. Obviously some team’s fans are so bitter and starved of anything to cheer for that they care more about the misfortunes of their rivals than they do about their own team but as I said, I’ll laugh like fuck at them if they go down on Sunday.

Obviously I post this safe in the knowledge that nobody will be laughing at Kloppo’s socialist good boys, the nations favourite team, when City are 3-0 up after ten minutes on Sunday.

Will miss this madman. Toughest loss since Diego. They're not going to appreciate him running funny just to pop the crowd in Spain.

We need K2 to replace him. About five years too late, but still, turning 31 in the summer's no age, Silva calls that being a toddler. Kounde sounds like it'll be done for the other side asap. Hopefully we'll get Colwill involved, getting him around to learn from Thiago while we're still lucky enough to have him is crucial.

Genuinely haven't cried like this in years. The whole season just came pissing out of me lamps.

Me poor dog is still doing shuttles and the sitting room has been turned inside out with a bottle of single malt spilled on the floor and my poor mate took a full pelt slap across the face after DCL pumped that in.

Fucking Everton. Wouldn't change them for the world.

I feel you pal, I had us done for at half time and then the bastards pulled that second half out, my hands were shaking all through stoppage time

Sunday is going to be a blessed afternoon now knowing we aren’t in the fight, not sure who I want staying up now though

Despite Lampards best efforts I can’t begrudge Rafa the shared success of keeping plucky Everton up.

Gotta be Leeds down. Burnley are boring but Leeds are Leeds and without Bielsa there’s nothing to like.
