The sizzle reel has come out. It looks great but it’s not really a trailer. Big Match John maybe the stand out in the way Big Dave was in Guardians

Another teaser (Roll Call), showing most of the characters that will be in the film:

Trailer for the Synder Cut of Justice League:

After years of hype he's not released a trailer with any pacing or narrative. He's just released a collection of shots of 'new stuff' with a song from another of his movies over it.

Never change Snyder.

Suicide Squad looks like it could be insane fun. With the amount of characters in it I'm expecting the majority to be killed off in the first 20 min.

In news that will really please the Snyder haters, apparently Zack Snyder's Justice League will be four hours long!

It will be released as a four part miniseries, with each episode being an hour long.

@CavemanLynn if you do the word spoiler in the square brackets (singular not plural) it should work.

That roll call video has me excited for The Suicide Squad. I haven't heard of most of them but that's the fun of it!

Loved that trailer, and didn’t realise that they’d filmed as much as they had prior to Covid. I thought they’d only just started filming.
As with everything these days, just avoid the comments

@CavemanLynn  edit your post to delete your thoughts I’ll post them below for in the spoiler tags

CavemanLynn’s thoughts -

That is excellent.

Great to have the smaller noir feel back after a decade of borderline military porn and scifi movies. Feels like a detective movie, which hopefully means we'll get a genuinely intelligent Wayne rather than a man with unlimited resources and lots of help. Pattinson has a great jawline for the cowl. Obviously we don't know much the trailer cuts around in time, but I think he looks great as the orphan billionaire and as the tooled up monster. The suit looks like it could be layered up, the underlayer in the closing scene being covered by the protective 'muscled-up' outer. This might be my favourite Batmobile, like he found the 1960s sportster and strapped rockets to it, without feeling overengineered like the sleek but very cool Burton/cartoon ones or Nolan's Transformer tank.

So it looks like we've got Riddler (took me a little bit to work out why the opening dialogue sounded odd) but the taped-up figure at the start reminds me of Hush. That mask plus the emphasis on "Who?" could also be a deliberate misdirect/fan boy tease of the Court of Owls. The white painted teens could be proto Joker, Harley, etc.

Holy fuck, that beating. You can keep the one-at-a-time Krav Maga gun fu. I'm all for one armed beat downs that start clinical, then quickly devolve into just raw ugly violentpounding. That moment IS Batman'spsychological struggle. It's scary as shit.

Haven’t they thrown like £40m at that Snyder cut? I still can’t get my head around them trying to improve it and making it even longer.

Well in to that Batman trailer. The casting for that film had me interested anyway, big fan of Pattison and Dano and Reeves is a good director. I had to google search where Farrell was in the trailer though, he looks like Les Grossman! Looks to be smaller and more story driven than the usual super hero blockbuster movies. Are all DC movies going to be separate from each other now? I’d much prefer that than another bunch of shared universe shite.

Im a huge Snyder cut supporter. The trailer shows at least one major plot change.

The fact he had 4 hours of footage after refusing to use any of joss reshoots is insane.  What the studio did to him after his daughter killed herself was disgusting. If it’s great then happy days if it’s ok then at least he got to finish it.

As for shared universe they are all connected by the multiverse. Let’s directors go off and play without having to tie it in. The upcoming flash movie will certainly delve into that based on the cast alone

What did they do? I thought the official line was he needed to step away to grief and they had to get a film released due to marketing, contracts etc. Though after Man of Steel and BvS why anybody would be THAT desperate to see his take, I do not know

They waited till he left, handed over the movie to Joss under the mandate to reshoot most of it and make it very funny. They chopped up his movie added the awful reshoots then chucked it out as synders vision.  Then claimed they didn’t do it. Dc Warner are currently investigating some serous allegations levelled by the cast during the reshoots.

Anything with cavills odd lip is a reshoot, the Russian family are reshoots, Barry landing on Diana all the silly stuff

As for man of steel and bvs, I liked man of steel and bvs extended was great.

I think DC played it extremely well yesterday.

I watched loads of the Fandome and they really hammered home the point that there are multiple versions of the characters that are all valid and can even cross over. They then showed a Snyder trailer with all its grandness (after already revealing the wild news about Batfleck and Keaton both being in the Flash), followed by a new Batman trailer that looks like all anyone who doesn't like the "silly stuff" could ever ask for from more Nolan style serious crime Batman.

It felt like something for everyone and mostly all people are taking about today is positive stuff about how well put together it was and how much exciting news came out.

Really looking forward to Black Adam as well.
