I had to retrieve the packet from the bin, hence the state of it, but these are immense and make a decent effort to put at least some heat into their product. I got them from Aldi and will be getting more. Top drawer.IMG_2859.thumb.jpeg.5151e412dd8ead87b456e8db23e45b05.jpeg

There are some blue ones, as in the actual crisps are blue, and they're bloody hot. We've got one of those short date back of a wagon bulk cheap shops near us, and they were selling these at 2 for a quid. They were pleasing.

We have a "Sunday club" comes in the pub and has a couple of big share sized bags of crisps between them on a Sunday afternoon. Anyway, while I was in trendy West Didsbury the other week I picked up some smokes pheasant and wild mushroom flavour for them. They said they were decent enough.

@NeverYieldPaprika crisps are marvellous. As good as the Walker's Max are, the McCoy's are even better. Paprika Pringles are decent as well.

I will try all of them immediately. I am at a BBQ where I'm not familiar with many faces and this is my perfect excuse to walk to the shop.

The blue ones are really weird. I don't associate the colour blue with hot spice, and even less with savoury foods, so it messes with my head a bit.

Yeah, and you end up with loads of that blue powder in the bottom of the bag. I was trying to pour it into my mouth and got a chunk in my eye. THAT wasn't pleasant.

I find Doritos a bit hit and miss but as expected these were good - maybe it was the usual base tortilla chip flavour coming through (which I sometimes find detrimental to the advertised flavour) but the heat seemed pared back compared to other snacks in the line so they were palatable to Mrs raid too even though we had a bag of pepperoni pizza flavour open too just in case. They went well with sour cream and chive dip and due to relative appetites I had to eat the majority of both packs myself, but still had room for a bag of Max Strong chicken wings later over a beer and Fatal Attraction. I ask you, what better way is there to spend an evening?

Still, nothing has ever replaced Doritos 3D in my heart.

Had these yesterday. Really nice. Good savoury flavour, both yoghurty and cheesy at the same time, and a hint of something else, probably garlic.

Looks like something they'd advertise on Chanel 9. Although they do look like they'd have a decent crunch to them as well.

Aldi do a rip off of the flamin hot Wotsits that are pretty decent. I think they do a rip off of the giant size ones too.  The kings of counterfeit crisps.

KP make a lot of Aldi's crisps which is why some of them like the Snackrite Real McCoys and Hula Hoops taste exactly the same. A few years ago some bloke opened up a multipack of the Snackrite hoops and it was full of Hula Hoops and KP confirmed it.

Shame they don't do more of the KP range like T Bone Steak Roysters or Bacon Wheat Crunchies tbh.
