Also, decided that Thai Sweet Chicken McCoys are the worst crisps of all time.

The Lidl rip-offs in the ridge cut meaty multi pack they do are delightful.

Are Takis any good ?

I keep seeing them in the likes of Home Bargain and Aldi but they are always like £3 a bag and I just think fuck that.

They're OK but I wouldn't be paying that for them. Chipoys are a similar shape/texture/flavour and are vastly superior IMO.

I don't think a crisp worth £3 exists and if it does it's certainly not Takis.

No you're absolutely right, but I do sometimes forget this when I'm in the local garden centres and the Brets are looking at me...

Just been snacking on some Manomasa Tortilla chips, the Chimichurri Steak ones as Home Bargains have them on offer for 75p as opposed to the £2.25 their rrp is. First thoughts are they’re ok, a nice meaty flavour on first bite but quickly goes dry and bland due to it being a corn and black bean blended chip. Still gonna finish the bag mind

Morrisons The Best Steak Ale and Onion Crisps 125g

Outstanding, one of the best bags of crisps I've had for ages. More of a bite than your regular beef and onion crisps. Good job I don't live close to a Morrisons or I would happily live on them. 5 3/4 stars on the Meltzer Scale.

Absolutely horrific, no other way of putting it. If you were looking to make an argument against crisps existing, you’d submit this as evidence. One of the worst things I’ve ever eaten.

These, on the other hand, are lovely. They’re flavoured with a mix of sauces, and it works well. They would be improved with a slight spicy kick and also by not being ridge cut, but on the whole these are really tasty. 8/10, I’d recommend.

Oh no. My wife bought a packet of these the other day. She hasn't started them yet. Do I just burn them?

I mean, we all have different tastes. But…there are limits to that, so yes you should.

Lidl are doing an Asian theme this week and have added a bunch of crisps they don't normally stock on these theme weeks. I spotted about 5 variety's of Calbee and the Buldak spicy crisps. Prices were around £1.70 so more inline with Asian supermarkets and not rip off online places.

I am trying my hardest atm to not eat the whole of a bag of these in one sitting.

Buldak spicy crisps.

Was so disappointed in this when I had them. Threw half a bag away and as you know me, that takes some doing.

Some cracking stuff at Lidl in that range.

That is a shame. I was eyeing up the Calbee Pizza flavour, have you had those ?
