There was a bit on this weeks or last weeks Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse Go Fishing where Bob was talking about a Bake Off musical (maybe that influenced it?)

I'd definitely watch one written by those two.

Oddly the worst music I've seen lately is the one that tried the hardest not to be a musical. The Cages is a fucking awful, painful experience.

I vaguely remember them talking GBBO:TM up on BBC Breakfast before the fringe. Based on the clips they showed from it I'm not sure that shit can adequately describe just how bad it seemed.

I’ve heard a lot of positive things from theatre socials when it had a run at Cheltenham. It’s success there has led to a West End staging and whilst it’s subject isn’t something I think I’d pay to see, I think it’s probably going to end up decent enough.
