Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted April 14, 2022 Paid Members Posted April 14, 2022 They just recently added that japanese series where children run adult tasks alone which are quite short episodes. I wonder if this maybe something that start to do more of? Frankly i'd rather see shorter episodes of a series then ones that outstay their welcome. Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted April 14, 2022 Moderators Posted April 14, 2022 That sounds interesting. What's it called? Quote

Paid Members PunkStep Posted April 14, 2022 Paid Members Posted April 14, 2022 There was a recent drama series on BBC with 10 min episodes as well, Cheaters. Can see more of these in the future as well. Bite size content has changed the way the current generation watch things. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted April 14, 2022 Paid Members Posted April 14, 2022 @Butch2000, explain to these gentlemen what the very best short running time series ever made is. Quote

Cheaters was an easy watch but I do find the 10 minute episodes a bit odd, but it probably is a generational thing. Mandy is another sitcom that does it, but those episodes are basically based around 1 character so it makes sense. Quote

DJM Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 The latest film from Peter Strickland, who has the impressive ability to take seemingly interesting ideas and make dull, uninteresting films (Katalin Varga, Berberian Sound Studio, In Fabric) or unbelievably boring, tedious and truly awful films (The Duke of Burgundy) out of them. Paid Members Carbomb Posted April 25, 2022 Paid Members Posted April 25, 2022 I heard from various sources that Berberian Sound Studio was good? Quote

A lot of people seem to like it, but I've watched it a couple of times and wasn't impressed. Toby Jones is good in the lead role, but the film itself did nothing for me. Quote
