The King Of Swing
Fuck me, I might actually watch it just to see just how bad it is. First movie is possibly the most forgettable movie I've ever watched.
Mr_Danger
Hopefully Joker sings a rendition of I’m The Leader of the Gang as he goes on a recruitment spree around Arkham Asylum.

Joaquin playing with his face and his laugh, the stand up routines, Robert DeNiro being good for the first time in 30 years, the dance down the steps... dislike it by all means but forgettable is a bonkers take.
Keith Houchen
Yeah, I’d say it’s forgettable too. Can hardly remember anything about it or what happens in it.
Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted June 14, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 14, 2022 I’m with Onyx2. While I didn’t like it, I think it was pretty memorable. Phoenix’s performance is great, DeNiro was good. There was Gary Glitter music being played for no reason in one of the biggest grossing films of the year, we got another Bruce Wayne backstory and not enough Marc Maron. Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted June 14, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 14, 2022 It was memorable for me in that I spent two and a half hours wondering how the fuck I got talked into watching this shite.
CTXRussomark
100% agree on forgettable. I only saw it for the first time around 6 months ago and can still only remember a handful of scenes from it. All that's really stayed is the feeling of disappointment when it was over.
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted June 15, 2022 Awards Moderator Share Posted June 15, 2022 Surprised how many didn't get along with it. It was my favourite film of the year. But I am a raging incel so there's that. HA SUPERHERO FILMS TAKE OVER ANOTHER THREAD
Paid Members Chris B Posted June 15, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 15, 2022 Joaquin Phoenix certainly did the most acting I've seen in a movie in a long time. Not necessarily the best, but certainly the most.
Factotum
Todd Phillips doing another Scorsese rip off then with New York, New York. I didn't mind JOKER. I admired that it tried to do something a little different with that genre of film, but I only saw it once and have no compulsion to watch it again. Glad Phoenix won an Oscar though. I know they mean shit but he's a superb actor when on form
Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted June 15, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 15, 2022 Wait, Joaquin Phoenix won an Oscar for Joker?! Awards ceremonies really are a massive waste of time arn't they, especially the Oscars.
