TildeGuy~!
They usually don’t have wrestlers who will be on the Show on Axxess on the Sunday. Maybe he’ll be a surprise return?
Daaaaaad!
Seem to recall that he was getting surgery or something and thus wouldn't be able to do Axxess?
Rosler28
Totally forgot about Dean Ambrose until i read this thread. Yea a good shout having him in the Andre Battle Royal.  Or possibly a long shot. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 30, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted March 30, 2018 Someone posted the card on twitter, and this looks like the best Mania in years. Taker vs Cena, Nakamura vs AJ, Reigns vs Brock, Ronda and Kurt vs Stephanie and HHH should be at least intriguing, the return of Daniel Bryan, Miz vs Seth vs Fin looks decent and the two womens bouts look good as well. They also got plenty of filler you can just stick on the pre-show with little complaints. I'm pretty buzzing to see this. It's the best line up they've had since Mania 30. Paid Members PunkStep Posted March 30, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted March 30, 2018 Absolutely, on paper it looks like it should give 31 a run for its money as the best Mania in recent years. You've got a fine blend of spectacle and in-ring quality there.
TildeGuy~!
For anyone who has never seen the Nakamura/Styles match from Wrestle Kingdom 10, New Japan have just uploaded it on Twitter
Paid Members PunkStep Posted April 2, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted April 2, 2018 Love that match. Do we see their WrestleMania match coming close to that? I don't think we will. You don't have the heel/face dynamic for a start that improves virtually every single match, and although AJ is even better now I'd say Nakamura doesn't put in as much of a shift in WWE. But hey, he could be saving it for the big stage.

Key point you mention here is the big stage..I reckon they both up their game here...AJ wont accept anything less than perfection and Nakamura is a showman
WyattSheepMask
I’d like to think that they are willing to let them work whatever match they want. While some like to think that WWE is its own little bubble at times, there will be plenty of people in the office that know that match and what both men are capable of, so rather than trying to micromanage and laying it out for them move for move, maybe just say “here’s whose winning, here’s how long you’ve got and here’s what we want to get across, get there how you want”. Going back to what people were saying about the card on paper, both this and NXT the night before are absolutely stacked. Really looking forward to the weekend.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted April 2, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted April 2, 2018 Oh I'm sure WWE are happy for them to go out and have a MOTY classic, otherwise they wouldn't have booked it in the first place, hopefully Nakamura ups it for the occasion. The build-up hasn't helped, it's all been a bit underwhelming.
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted April 2, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted April 2, 2018 Definitely, Ian. The addition of Bryan has proper made this card 'pop'. I think AJ v Nakamura feels like them just not really trying because the match sells itself. It's for the type of fans that are flying over to watch it. RIDDUM_N_STYLE
PROGRESS are getting some right good exposure this weekend aren't they? They have 2 shows airing on WWNLive, talent appearing at various shows and now their 3 main titles getting defended at WWE's own convention on the morning of the biggest wrestling show of the year in North America. Also good for Keith Lee to be defending WWN's main title on a somewhat larger stage. Question the logic of having the newest NXT title being defended hours after what could be a brutal ladder match but then again they put Ember Moon (kayfabe injured) and Andrade Almas (in a classic) in the Rumble matches the night after the last Takeover and The Hardyz in a ladder match at last years Mania after being in a ladder match at ROH the night before
firstnameunknown
I hope we at least get to see highlights of all that Axxess madness! Reckon they’ve just asked Ohno to name a couple of big lads he fancies wrestling..?!
Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted April 2, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted April 2, 2018 There might be the slight possibility some of the NXT at Axxess stuff could air on their next show following Mania, as it’s usually a filler show until the next tapings.
