Paid Members Thunderplex Posted February 28, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2017 Thought so! You have a Golden Corral just across Sandlake road behind the garage. It's an #eatclean heaven that does Chips ,ice cream and cake for breakfast, with enough rounds of bread to keep even Butch happy.
Paid Members BigJag Posted February 28, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2017 Slight change from the fried chicken talk. Has anyone tried Temple of Seitan in Hackney? They do various vegan approximations of junk food. Including vegan fried "chicken". Â With it being Shrove Tuesday. I tried Vegan pancakes from Whipee Gelato in Leicester. Very unimpressed. They weren't sweet enough and too thick. I doubt that I'll go back.

However it is far too healthy to be discussed in this proper food thread.
Paid Members BigJag Posted February 28, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2017 I may be going to Chicago soon. I'll check that out. Cheers.
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted February 28, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2017 The word "vegan" should only be used in this thread if it involves kicking one.

Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 28, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2017 I'd have thought some foods already discussed could already be considered vegan, no? Hash browns, chip butties (depending on what the chips have been fried in and what the bread's made of), baked beans, certain Pot Noodles... Paid Members BigJag Posted February 28, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2017 Yeah. There's plenty of EATCLEAN veggie/vegan food.

Paid Members Surf Digby Posted March 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted March 1, 2017 I don't mind vegans. Â Deep fried, of course.
Ladiesman345
I've never had lard although I've heard a fry up using it is the bomb.
