Watched BFG, first TNA show in years. Whole thing felt souless, if I'm honest. There was a brief uplift during the Hardy match, but other than that, it was just terribly small time and a waste of a lot of good talent involved.

What happened to Damien Sandow?

People thought he should main event wrestlemania because he had a gimmick where we imitated someone. Now he isn't imitating someone. And he's shit.

If Eddie Edwards is champion does this mean we get the inevitable feud with Davey Richards when he returns from injury/honeymoon/paternity leave?

Having seen a leaked image from these tapings, I can't help but feel you've all been a little too quick to condemn the booking decision in the title fight.

So according to PWInsider, Dixie had a meeting with the talent on Monday.

She admitted they have been late paying the talent, that's down to TNA being owed money. Seriously.

She was shocked the talent was worried about the state of the company (what good business pay the talent late?)

Corgan didn't attend the meeting.

Not sure what the best way to handle this is, but clearly some people want to continue to 'enjoy' TNA without spoilers for the tapings, but at the same time it will be a pain in the arse to have a conversation that is basically a big series of spoiler tags.

So if you want to start a parallel spoiler thread to discuss TNA with all info of tapings please go ahead and do so.

So who was she pretending owed them money?

Dunno probably Sandow owes them $15 for the shirt at Bound for Glory.

JR seems to think TNA are selling the video library to the WWE. But the company will still keep going. India TV deal looks dead too.

Eh? So surely this means a complete rebranding, otherwise I'm not sure how that would work. To be honest, they've been in dire need for a re-branding since, well forever. TNA has always been a shit name and now it has virtually no name value (at least in 2010 or so you could argue that the TNA name had some sort of value), there is no better time than now to wipe the slate clean and attempt to start again. Just call it The Hardyz, or something.

Didn't WWE do something similar with OVW? Bought the tape library upto that point in time as they were prepping to go with FCW instead, so they could then have the tape that was worthwhile to them but the promotion could continue afterwards

If that's what they did, you can see a little logic in that for a couple of reasons. A) nobody gave a fuck (or has since given a fuck) about OVW outside of their feeder status to WWE. And B) Seeing as all of their talent was coming up through OVW at the time, the tape library of their early stuff was worth something to them in terms of building characters. Other than sticking their stuff of the network, which would be weird in this scenario as you're essentially promoting an existing non-affiliated promotion, with TNA all they'd have is footage to look back on Styles, Roode and Joe's past. Seems pointless to buy the entire library just for that, so I reckon there's a rebranding happening or something like that
