Not sure whether their comments are legally binding, but I'd fucking love to see Marc doing the robot dance on Peter Crouch's lawn Cheers for the heads up! I'd not been keeping up since they done their shorter 12 days episodes over the last few weeks, but it looks like we're back on track with WrestleMania 23. I wonder how the next few will go. I doubt they're going to stop becoming funny any time soon but even the guys have on occasion now foreshadowed the potential quality going forward by explaining how after a certain point WrestleManias just blend together. There's still plenty of huge moments but older wrestling generally lends itself better to comedy podcasting. Most of the big boys have gotten blander as they've strayed into the bland. Edited January 9, 2020 by Gay as FOOK

Also loving Grado and Rab's Wrestling Daft podcast at the moment. Found myself chuckling like a mad man as Grado was ripping JR for his constant plugging of viagra and manscaping products. Would recommend to all.

Paid Members garynysmon Posted January 9, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted January 9, 2020 I'm still working my way through Wrestle Me as I only discovered it a few months ago and have reached WM13 now. I was laughing out loud like a madman at the gym last week when they started going on about Dusty Rhodes' gay policeman look during his feud with the Big Bossman. That said, I don't really have interest in stuff post-2006 or so, so that should quicken up my progress if I skip the newer product. I almost wish they would alternate between the WrestleMania timeline and something random ongoing. Having said that, they seem to be effortlessly hilarious regardless of what they are talking about, so I'm sure it will be fine

I'm happy for them to keep doing that, as WrestleMania by itself might become a bit of a slog from this point on. Doing that would also mean it'll take longer for them to get up to date - I've always had it in my head they'd finish the podcast once they'd run out of Manias, and I've always hoped they don't! The Gaffer
At their current average of about two matches per show, the full WrestleMania 35 card would take eight weeks to get through. Next week: "We've decided after reading the UKFF to call it quits." TibBo
Yeah I am kind of hoping that they will move over to Starrcade or something once they get up to date on WrestleMania. Might be wishful thinking as I'm guessing there would be a bit of crossover of talent, and less nostalgia as it wasn't as easily accessible back in the day over here, but there would still be plenty of new material in there to make it entertaining. Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted January 9, 2020 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 9, 2020 I wonder if, as WrestleManias and the characters in them start getting less interesting, they'll revert to getting through a show in 1 or 2 episodes like they did at the very start. I can't imagine there's a great deal to say about most of the matches the last few years.
Paid Members DEF Posted January 9, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted January 9, 2020 I'm hoping they will swap to Starcade after the mania run and then Bound For Glory after that. There's absolutely tons of wrestling fun to be poked at still. I'm actually quite interested in how the later mania's will go because on face value they get pretty dull from a wrestle-sleaze sort of way but I bet I'm forgetting a ton of daft shit that happens every year. Yeah, I’d love to see them deal with some WCW stuff after they’re done with Wrestlemania. Whatever the case, I hope they keep podcasting about wrestling together. They’ve got a brilliant partnership on the go and they’re both hilarious, especially Pete.
Paid Members Accident Prone Posted January 10, 2020 Paid Members Share Posted January 10, 2020 Wrestle Me should review the ROH vs CZW feud, it's only logical (and correct)Â step-up from WrestleManias.
King Mal the Glorious
Just started listening to Wrestle Me. First impression was that they sound like they should be presenting a football phone in in the 90s. Midway through the first episode there's a Paul Pescisolido reference. I feel vindicated.
