Paid Members Tommy! Posted November 13, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 13, 2016 Big Daddy V was shit. Big Daddy V was the one good run. Â MoaM were shit and his heel turn had him over pushed. He spent years as a goth jobber and then a comedy sex pest. Â Big Daddy V was the first time he was sat right in the card with a gimmick that didn't hinder. A lower card monster who beat no marks but could make someone still look good as they took a step up. Guest
When you're the size of Kane and on the road a lot, you probably just take what you can get.
CTXRussomark
I'm too lazy to search for it but the Power Slam cover from 98 with Kane on the cover is tremendous. This was at the very peak of the character in terms of mystique, but there he was sitting at an autograph table wearing his mask and a shellsuit the Harry Enfield scousers would have been envious of. CTXRussomark
Oh. Well it was definitely Power Slam. Maybe one of the centrefolds rather than a cover? All my magazines are in my dad's spare room or I'd go and look myself.
Paid Members mim731 Posted November 14, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 14, 2016 I think I know the picture he means, he's wearing a denim shirt with his hair tied back, but wearing the mask. Don't remember it being a cover of PS though.
KingofSports
Ric Flair, judging by the date on the photograph, a day prior to his NWA/AWA Unification match with Rick Martel in Tokyo & a fan-taken photo from an All Japan event capturing The Dynamite Kid's hastily announced retirement.
