RoryFice
Their match was on Heat. Â Rebellion 2001 appears to be the next on the list. Wrestlemania X8 almost makes it, Crash Holly winning the hardcore title in a "match" being the debatable point.

Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted October 27, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted October 27, 2015 That's a brilliant bit of trivia, pretty mad that it's as far back as 1994. Looking at the card, it looks pretty normal for the time.

NEWM
The Scramble concept was underrated and deserved another run out by the WWE. Just skimming through Unforgiven 08 on the Network and all of them are great. The ECW one is possibly the best of the lot as well. Hardy flapping about desperately chucking blokes out of the ring and breaking up pins is tremendous. Fans go apeshit at the end.
Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted October 27, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted October 27, 2015 Caught the end of something called Fighting Spirit Wrestling last night, description just says it's the best matches from NJPW and CMLL. No idea how recent it is or that. The commentary's English so I'll keep giving it a go. Every weeknight on the Extreme Sport channel.
Paid Members Linus Posted October 27, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted October 27, 2015 According to Mo Chatra, who tweeted about it, the matches are from 2011-2013, and the commentary is by Alex Shane & Dave Bradshaw (?).
Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 27, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 27, 2015 Dave Bradshaw is off Wrestletalk/UK Wrestling Round Up I think. I could swear he was the one who got his arse tanned on there by Raven for being a bit of a plum.

Wasteman
Is there any chance Batista could make a return for WM? Â With all the success he's having away from the ring a return from him would feel bigger than ever. Â Battle of the movie stars Rock v Batista anyone? I could swear he was the one who got his arse tanned on there by Raven for being a bit of a plum. I remember there was nothing left of Dave Bradshaw after that interview. He looked like a victim of horrendous bullying once that show was over. Raven just picked the fuck out of everything he was saying.

Another way of looking at it is that they were bollocks, in theory if not necessarily practice  Putting your world titles up in matches like that made them seem even more meaningless at the time, how are you the best by winning such a ridiculous match? Â I enjoyed all 3 matches, and the 4th one they did for the ECW title, but the concept would have got stale very quickly.
