Always felt uncomfortable as a kid with those porno style April Hunter bullshit shots in those WOW magazines. Like I'm going to hang up a poster of a half naked women who looks bigger than the average pro wrestler!?

I remember being really dissapointed when I saw her on WCW as a valet of the nWo 2000. Hall & Nash really dropped in stock in my book when they surrounded themselfs with her. Good riddance.

If I recall correctly Nash even did a Z level movie with her where they perform a sex scene

The Dupps

Signed to WWE Developmental, they stayed there and never did anything besides one of them banging Miss Kitty. Which everyone including Jerry Lawler was well aware of. Eventually released, probably the same time as Kat herself was released.

Wasn't there a story about one of them being absolutely out of their face in a hotel where the WWF were staying over a Wrestlemania weekend? And the reason it hit the fan was they ended up in a lift with Linda McMahon and were that wankered they had no idea it was her they were with ?!

This thread does bring back a lot of memories. As someone mentioned earlier the Ross Report was a weekly love-in with so many of the OVW guys. Granted a few of them made it to the very, very top of the WWE but Ross was so widespread of his praise of everyone it was hard to distinguish who was actually the cream of the crop as he was "high on" almost everybody and they all had "a tremendous upside". The mention of Kulka and Watterman made me smile but there were definitely a lot more

Russ McCullogh - no idea what happened to him? Looked like another giant of giant though.

Steve Bradley was another one that was seemingly always "weeks away" from getting brought up to mainstream TV. Never materialsed though and he passed away a few years ago. :(

If we were talking about the late 80's/early 90's Indy Wank then Tony 'Boston Bad Boy' Rumble, Italian Stallion and George South would surely be the leaders of the pack. IWCCW and PWF

I find it both confusing and amusing that Tony Rumble was in WWIII, in 1997.

He seems to be another one that use to bung Apter a few quid as he was always in PWI etc.

Possibly because he signed them all he felt like he had to justify them being there.

Johnny Kashmere

One half of the Backseat Boyz who i seemed to always see getting mentioned all over the place. Now officially out of the closet apparently.

Johnny Kashmere is a gay?

Did you think Cooky was regaling us with a story about Kashmere having selected a shirt or something?

Was IWCCW ever shown over here? I have a vague memory of seeing it randomly on in the early 90s. I'm sure an episode of Global got shown once as well, as I remember seeing Big Bully Busick on it before he came to the WWF.

Don't know about IWCCW, but ICW aired over here (on terrestrial TV as opposed to Satellite). Global briefly aired on the old Screensport channel, where they showed a couple of the tournaments to crown the companies first champions.

The only thing that I remember that was any good about the Dupps - and this is really debatable - is when they lost their "loser leaves ECW" match to Doring & Roadkill, came out the very next week and said words to the effect of "we're not leaving until you make us leave" and the Sandman came out and caned their brains in. I say debatable, because its only good if you enjoyed the Sandman caning the living piss out of nobodies. I always did.

How can we discuss Indy wank without mentioning The SAT.

The SAT were a real eye opener for me. Until I I saw them I was a smarky pillock who honestly believed that all the indy sleeze merchants were far superior to the WWE guys...then I saw those slow, clumsy, choreographed tag sequences and that bloody stupid Spanish Fly finisher and suddenly i realised what a fool I had been.

I just youtubed them and it looks like they've piled on the pounds...ugh

Brody Steele.

Part of a group called the Kardinal Sinners that also once included current TNA champ Bobby Roode i believe. Big dude, with not a whole lot of talent. Was involved in a big way in an indy wrestling reality show, which featured on TWC and covered the inner workings of the wrestling business in a candid manner, while also showing the actual shows. An interesting experiment, it was actually a pretty decent watch.

For some reason, I remembered this guy the other day but couldn't for the life of me remember his name. I thought her certainly had something going for him when I saw him on TWC back in 2005ish. I wonder what he's doing now.

Yeah, they're more like the French Announce Team these days.

CM Punk is such a fucking nerd. Live Journal? All you who are fans of his should really rethink that. He actually signs off with "XpunkX". Total dweeb.
