Main event was a bit spotty but I'm a fan of the three new guys in the match and Kidd is a talented guy so it was always going to be decent. Excellent job with the four videos throughout the show. Ā KENTA's debut was ace. Love the new name and music. The thing with KENTA is it looks cool but it doesn't sound great so this should work. That gif of him sitting in the chair inviting the tag champs back in was epic. What a great image to plant in people's minds. Ā The hair vs. hair stuff was a great (oxymoron) example of WWE comedy at it's worst. Just hokey shit throughout. The acting of the big fella (who got covered in hair removal cream but had patches of Road Warrior hair no sell the effects) was the worst. Ā I liked Bull Dempsey. Only because he wore a singlet. And the other ones with rough faces have at least had something else going for them, in most cases. Wanking over Lita would have meant you were fifteen and porn tube sites hadn't been invented yet. Wanking over Bayley would just mean you had some dark capacity to completely ignore her looks and get off on her "kid that goes to special school" gimmick, and that would make you a dangerous predator. Probably one of my favourite matches this year, along with Daniel Bryan vs Bray Wyatt at the Rumble, the first Shield vs Wyatts match at Elimination Chamber and Bryan vs HHH at Wrestlemania. Ā I'm a bit worried about the Ascension making it on the main roster. They're ready if you judge them on NXT work, but they looked small in the match with Los Matadores on Main Event this week.
