That was a great moment, and could be the catalyst for a rebirth of sorts for Itami. Needs to ditch the dressing gown though, man looks shit hot in a suit.

The tag match was probably my match of the night. all four men put on a hell of a match. The main event was awesome as well. I'm not a big fan of Nakamura's 5 minute matches that he has on NXT TV, the guy works best during longer matches like this.

 

Hopefully we'll see a Joe and Bayley call up after Summerslam but the news going round is that Joe has broken his jaw from the first Kinshasa he took. You could see him holding his jaw and trying to talk to the ref but couldn't get any words out so just pointed at it. Then the ref threw up the X at the end of the match. Hopefully it's not broken and just jarred it or something.

 

Nakamura vs. Roode next?

Wasn't the jaw/X stuff just a work so Joe remains strong on the back of the loss? Can see a rematch soon so they can build other contenders in the mean time

If and when Nakamura and Roode face each other, it will seem like the biggest match ever with those entrances. Absolutely epic.

 

Anyway, as usual it was a really good show, which is great considering the brand seems to be in transition. A fun opener that set up what should be a great Aries/Itami feud, great debuts for Roode and Moon and then that Tag Title match stole the show. Awesome all round.

 

The main two matches delivered as you'd expect from them, though Nakamura/Joe wasn't quite as amazing as it looked on paper. Looking forward to Bayley and Joe (after his rematch) heading to the main roster.

Best part of the show: Samoa Joe pushing that security guard into the wall for no reason other than he's Samoa Fucking Joe.

It was a wonderful moment indeed.

 

Excellent event again, enjoyed every match.

 

Loved the tag,women's and main event matches.

Mick Foley swapping seats with his daughter so he could sit next to Becky Lynch was my unintentional highlight of the night, but what a show it was, Nakamura, Joe and Roode should all be on the main roster, they all scream superstar.

Give them a couple of months on the main roster, that will put an end to that.

Damn, I was hoping Delirious had finally signed a contract. Probably too late for him now, but I'd have loved to see him playing a Tajiri type role to Regal on NXT.

Is there no way Regal can compete again? It just seems like they've set up him vs Joe so perfectly, it'd be a shame not to get a match out of it.
