wordsfromlee Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 The tag match was probably my match of the night. all four men put on a hell of a match. The main event was awesome as well. I'm not a big fan of Nakamura's 5 minute matches that he has on NXT TV, the guy works best during longer matches like this. Hopefully we'll see a Joe and Bayley call up after Summerslam but the news going round is that Joe has broken his jaw from the first Kinshasa he took. You could see him holding his jaw and trying to talk to the ref but couldn't get any words out so just pointed at it. Then the ref threw up the X at the end of the match. Anyway, as usual it was a really good show, which is great considering the brand seems to be in transition. A fun opener that set up what should be a great Aries/Itami feud, great debuts for Roode and Moon and then that Tag Title match stole the show. Awesome all round. The main two matches delivered as you'd expect from them, though Nakamura/Joe wasn't quite as amazing as it looked on paper. It was a wonderful moment indeed. Excellent event again, enjoyed every match. Loved the tag,women's and main event matches. What a fantastic theme song for Roode! The King of Old School Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 Mick Foley swapping seats with his daughter so he could sit next to Becky Lynch was my unintentional highlight of the night, but what a show it was, Nakamura, Joe and Roode should all be on the main roster, they all scream superstar.
