Daaaaaad!
It wasn't supposed to be. Whether it was or not, however, I really don't know... loads of fairly major stuff seemed to happen.
TildeGuy~!
It was a house show I believe

dopper
Looks like C.J. Parker quit the company yesterday. Enzo Amore put this on Twitter: Tomorrow is going to be a strange day. It will be the first day I work for this company and you don't, and that was your decision. I'm proud of you. Your a dam man kid. The man. I'm so glad I got the time we had together from FCW to NXT. Hittin the road, shootin the breeze, & bending elbows with you, it's been one helluva run. "Your so vain," you really are and it popped the out of me for 3 years. This life is a grind, it ain't easy, & there were days where your humor got me through that grind. Thank you for all that you taught me in this business and more importantly on behalf of all the boys in the locker room, thank you for the entertainment you provided us with. For all you fans that who always wondered who was the funniest cat in the locker room, unanimously @cjp_mc ole @wwemoonchild . I'm genuinely jealous and happy for the next locker room you end up in. It takes a dam man to walk out the door not knowing what is on the other side: but you made that decision and you know as well as I do that a whole wide world awaits you brother Parker... I'll be right here waiting for you when you return. Get out there and turn some heads kid. You are my favorite pro wrestler in the world and I mean that. I'm going to miss you here in #NXT and I know I'm not the only one. Looking forward to watching you work brother .... And one day working with you again. We're only in the shine kid. . #TheSkyIsTheLimit for#TheMoonChild. He wasn't among my favourite members of the roster - as a babyface fannying about pretending it was the 1970's he was among my least favourites - but he had his moments. WyattSheepMask
Won't miss him at all. That hippy gimmick was never going to go anywhere these days. Might have stood a chance in 2006 when Al Gore convinced people to turn stuff off at walls was going to save us, but that only lasted a few months too
King Pitcos
He was decent, had a good gimmick too, but I never saw big things for him. Seems like a bigger loss to the locker room than the show, judging by Enzo's comments.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted April 1, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 1, 2015 Seems he has left to try to improve himself, gain experience and work internationally etc. Fair play to him if that is indeed his motivation, takes some balls to do that. He's only 25, which is younger than I expected, so perhaps he will be back one day. You're still considered a kid at 32 in WWE these days.
Ranmoor
According to the Observer they've sacked off the idea of running a show at the ECW arena and are now looking at one the local universities 10,000 seater arenas. Which is mad considering the majority of the main roster house shows probably don't draw 10,000.
WyattSheepMask
That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be set up for 10,000 seats though
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted April 2, 2015 Awards Moderator Share Posted April 2, 2015 I like that Rhyno's included himself in the NXT title hunt. I'd happily watch any combination of him, Zayn, Balor and Owens. Sami's opening promo was great too. Why did people like Emma? I thought the way she seemed disinterested in her own gimmick was quite good, and fitted with her backstage encounters with Bayley (i.e. 'I'm doing what you all enjoyed, but look what it did for me, I bombed on the main roster and now I'm back here, fuck this') but the match bored me. Jason Jordan seems the kind of wrestler JR would be ecstatic over signing, muscular former amateur wrestler and so on. Reminds me of early Shelton Benjamin. Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted April 3, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 3, 2015 That match between Bayley and Emma was atrocious, one of the worst women's matches I've seen in a long time. The rest of the show seemed pretty lacklustre this week too, including the main event. Highlight of the show was seeing Rhyno I suppose, purely for the nostalgia of it all. I'd like more than a sub-30 second squash from him though.
The Dart
Seems odd if they brought Rhyno in to work with the young development talents, then have him in squash matches against locals, but I guess it's building him up. Speaking of atrocious matches, that Dillinger vs. Jordan match was shocking too.
Winston
I'd quite like to see a secondary title added to NXT now. Even something gimmicky like when FCW had that Ironman 15 championship. Would be a cool addition.
sammorgz
My missus walked in when I was watching NXT and didn't seem impressed. "Hideo? More like hideous" She's lucky I didn't choke her out for that one. Shite episode on the whole this week though. Glad Zayn is back though.
King Pitcos
Why did people like Emma? When she was originally in NXT, you mean? WWE for the most part only writes a few types of female wrestler: you've got the nutter girl, the bitchy girl, the naive cute girl and the child/retard girl. Or a combination of those things. The child/retard one tends to work especially well with the sort of hebephos who are well into women's wrestling, and funny stuff can grab the more casual viewer. Emma was basically the female Eugene/Santino but cute -- though not as pornstar-quality as the usual diva -- and the bubbles and dancing and clumsiness were endearing gimmicks. Like Adam Rose, she was a fun character that was different from the usual aggressive vibe that wrestlers have. Like Adam Rose, it didn't work on the grand stage.
