We need to sweep these chumps if we want to go into the Texas series with real hopes of overtaking them in the wildcard race. What has gone from a season where we were hopeful of winning the division, to accepting we wouldn't be doing that but were stick-ons for playoffs has now got to a place where we're not even sure we'll be there post-season. MVP RULZ Posted October 3, 2023 Share Posted October 3, 2023 Looking forward to enjoying some post season Marlins baseball again We had 2020 of course but that whole season has a bit of an asterix to it This is the first time in the playoffs in a full 162 game season since we won it all in 2003 Great memories, I'd only been into Baseball a season or two and it was amazing experiencing it all It's been a rough 20 years since but we are back in at last. Tough series vs Phillies though, missing both Sandy and Eury is a real shame, Luzardo and Garrett have been very good this season though and hopefully can keep us in it and some magic happens with the offense. Having a novice in the commentary team asking questions is a great idea. Plus Melanie Newman is a great caller.  Im backing Atlanta solely because Blooper is the best mascot in all of baseball.
