Sphinx
I hate those suplexes where they cross the legs. It looks awkward and doesn't add anything.
Paid Members ShortOrderCook Posted May 6, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 6, 2013 Take it that wasn't the finish and he kicked out?
nobby
Take it that wasn't the finish and he kicked out? Â Course not, this was 30 seconds into the match, they had just finished locking up.
Mr. Levity 84
It helps if you just view ROH Wrestling as a video game, but in real life. Â It's the only way to explain the stupidity.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted May 6, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 6, 2013 Richards is such a cunt. Is he on a one man mission to ruin all wrestling moves?

Paid Members Egg Shen Posted May 6, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 6, 2013 is that how that move was meant to go?
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted May 6, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 6, 2013 Well Richards' taunt from the top rope did seem to indicate that he intended to decapitate him. Seriously though, what an idiot.
Paid Members Ronnie Posted May 7, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 7, 2013 is that how that move was meant to go? Doubt it. London automatically put his arms over his belly to cushion the impact. It comes across as even worse with the sound of the impact and seeing London out of it afterwards. He understandably got a concussion from it. Cue the mutants chanting "You killed Paul". d-d-d-dAz
Did Richards win the match? Â If so, it's fucking retarded that they did another spot. Pin him there and then and I don't think anyone would have complained.

Pin him there and then and I don't think anyone would have complained.  Yeah Richards won, they went to the top rope and nearly slipped off a couple of times.  London went for the shooting star press, Davey got his knees up to the gut, then rolled him up for the pin.  I can't believe they went ahead with the shooting star, with London in that condition it's a miracle he executed it, and landed in the exact spot necessary aswel, kudos to him for that. Philo_Vance
London's been on twitter saying he had a blast despite being knocked out, and thanking Davey for the match. That's eiter supreme professionalism in not having a pop at him in public, or he's a fucking wally.
Paid Members Accident Prone Posted May 7, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 7, 2013 Davey usually lands the move on the opponent's chest and uses the top rope to hault the majority of his momentum. However, London was sweating buckets so Davey slipped right off London's chest and jetted across his head. It wasn't Davey being wreckless; just an unfortunate accident. Philo_Vance
Having watched it on youtube a couple of times as well as that gif, it doesn't look like he slides off his chest, it looks like he lands square on his head.
