Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted January 22, 2014 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 22, 2014 Swiped from NeoGAF. Dos Caras Jr (Alberto Del Rio) vs Kengo in an MMA fight from 2001. Fight is won by Del Rio due to ref stoppage after a shoot belly to belly. Why? Looks innocent enough: Â Â But then look at the reverse angle and the story is slightly different if you watch Kengo's arm: Â Â Ouch. Paid Members LaGoosh Posted April 5, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted April 5, 2014 That's fucked. Japanese wrestling is weird. They know it's fake right?
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted April 5, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted April 5, 2014 The above two gifs show exactly why American rasslin beats Jap stuff for me every time.
cobystag
And again showing how crazy Japanese wrestling can be. I hope it was a botch.... Â
Sixteen Degrees
Aiden, it was a botch. The move was meant to end in a powerbomb. One of Ibushi's problems/draw backs is his tendency to invent moves that are ridiculously dangerous. Usually he has the common sense not to use them in the ring. Luckily I think they've realised just how dangerous this idea is and they're going to stop using it.
cobystag
I knew it was Just was playing along with the "crazy, stiff" comments from earlier. Although Ibushi and Nakazawa are certifiably insane for some of the stuff they attempt.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted April 6, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted April 6, 2014 is that guy dead?
cobystag
Nope. He was seriously lucky not to be severely injured tho. As Sixteen Degrees mentioned it's ordinarily a powerbomb off the top rope but something went wrong and he got ganso bombed instead.
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted April 17, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) Â The guy that posted this on Tumblr seems to be watching Mr. Nanny, so hopefully there's some more goodness. Â EDIT - He certainly is. To save on hassle, I'm just going to link to his blog. Edited April 17, 2014 by Bill Diarrhea
