Frontiers of Pandora, it was called. It was lots of fun at times, but frustratingly difficult, to the point I gave up on it two missions before the end. One of those “kill twenty impossible enemies, all of whom can kill you with one shot, also you don’t have ammo and there’s nowhere nearby to replenish your ammo and you can’t leave the combat area” type games. They did do an update a year after it was released that allowed you to switch between first and third person, which was a godsend because I couldn’t even get past the opening mission on first person mode. Daaaaaad! Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I think the thing that goes unsaid about Avatar is how much it seemed to resonate with women. Men habitually occupy so much discussion space (eh lads haha eh) but even though I accept it's anecdotal, the people I know that really enjoyed those films were my wife and a lot of female friends and colleagues. Of course, they didn't then spend fifteen minutes trying to explain the lore of the Navi to me. Quote

Paid Members FLips Posted June 18 Paid Members Posted June 18 The Brave Little Toaster was my favourite film growing up but it came out pre-Disney renaissance, and pre- “objects come to life” Pixar but most the staff from the film unsurprisingly went on to work heavily in both. Despite a cult following it got a limited PAL DVD release in 2003 (the DVD I got last year cost me over £30!) and never got another release in this region. Quote
