Montez hasn't been on TV for ages either. Could it be contract issue? Or do you reckon are they just holding her off until a Raw or something? It would seem logical, were she healthy and there were no issues, that she would have been there last night. Quote

Doog Posted February 1 Posted February 1 It's a shame this wasn't great as WWE has been a lot better recently. Since SNME with Cenas last match the TV has been comsistent with some good shows and logical storytelling. It's why this Rumble was fairly anticipated, it being in Saudi aside. On the surface it was fine, and they've set up their directions and stories for the next couple of months, so I think the TV should still be pretty good, but yeah this wasn't the best PPV. WrestleMania with Drew/Cody/Fatu, Punk v Reigns, Oba v Brock, Breakker v Rollins, Finn v Dom and Liv v Vaquer is quite strong mind as your main matches. Quote

Like, why did El Grande Americano Original have to come out immediately after the imposter El Grande Americano? Why did Bronson Reed have to come out immediately after Austin Theory? Come on, guys. Also, it took me on average a good five seconds to work out who was coming out next because the entrance music is so fucking bad these days. And why are we wasting a spot on The Miz in 2026? YEET Parties can fuck off, too. I'm glad they kept it under an hour, at least. Did feel as though they were playing fast and loose with the timed intervals. Highlight for me was my five-year-old son going 'Now, I always like to see THIS!' after Brock and Oba Femi squared up for the first time. Saying that, when I asked him who he wanted to see in the Rumble beforehand he replied 'Mark Henry, Big Show, Great Khali and Kane', so he certainly has a type. Quote
