Are we at the point where people can admit that Jungle Boy is vindicated yet? Or is that too much?

I don't recall having a reason to castigate him in the first place in that whole issue. Saying that thing to camera was probably a bit silly, but the response much sillier.

Is it just me who thinks the Punk thing isn't that bad? The security guy behind him clearly reacts as well. I wonder whether there are particularly strict security protocols around this trip.

Not defending him for going, he's clearly a massive hypocrite (he is a wrestler after all) and deserves the flack he's getting for it, but as far as that clip goes, I think I'd want a bit more context before rounding on him for that interaction specifically. A 5 second video without sound feels like it's not going to offer that. Don't get me wrong, the optics of that alone aren't great, but still, feels like there's missing some information there.

I mean a very small kid runs up to him and clearly wants a photo or an autograph. Now the could have ran into shot and broke through whatever cordon might be behind the camera because he's a wee bairn, and Punk was stopping him from running into him or falling over if you want an alternative facts devils advocate theory.

What's obviously missing though is the sound where he threatens to kick his fucking head in for the disrespect.

Or he thought it was Marko Stunt and they're still cool.

The real glass thing was dumb as fuck though and deserved to be called out. He obviously didn’t deserve what happened next and Punk was absolutely in the wrong for his actions and made things 10x worse, but I don’t think that takes away from Jungle Boy wanting to do something stupid as fuck and then being antagonistic about it on live TV. The whole thing should have been nipped in the bud weeks before Brawl In.

Given the other pics I've seen, I think they were on their way to a meet and greet, presumably paid, and so were not handing out freebies. It looks absolutely dreadful though. These guys are superheroes. A fist bump or a high five would have taken a second of his life and made him look less of a prick.

I had no idea Perry had suggested a glass spot before All In. I thought everything around Brawl In happened on the day of the show, and the justification for Punk's OTT reaction was to some extent the long flight, no one to pick him up at the airport and having to take the Tube to Wembley.

The fact that a glass spot had been discussed before and nixed by producers and doctors makes Perry seem stupider and way more antagonistic than I knew before. I don't know how he does that and doesn't expect a reaction backstage.

I blame that empty headed dumb fuck, Hangman Adam Page. Setting in motion winning back the AEW World Title he never should have lost. Resetting the timeline. Erasing Brawl Out.

In June there was to be a glass spot in Hamilton where Hook was chasing Perry limo/car if I remember right. Nobody hears anything about any problems until a couple of weeks before All In. As news had come out about Punk "banning" people from Collision and this was one of the other bits of news to highlight the extent of the problems.

There's then the week plus of the usual talking heads criticising Perry online for wanting to do a spot with real glass. Which of course has all the trolls out in force online. The tapping the glass, directly to camera 'real glass, cry me a river' was more so to do with that, than a shot at Punk. Who was the next match up, potentially warming up and not actually watching the show at the time.

There was also the underlying element - Punk made himself look like an asshole with his post-Collision Hangman insult and he knew it, and a lot of people believed Punk got the story about Perry and the glass out to make himself look good, which came at Perry's expense, which Perry was upset about since he didn't make any kind of public or private stink about Punk shooting down the glass spot that Tony had approved and thought it was a non-story until it was made into one for a perceived PR recovery.

I'd have to look it up as well because it sounds completely mental but I heard it was actually safer using real glass in a windshield than fake glass for some reason. That's not defending Perry for being a bit a mouthy sod but to equate equal blame when the other party physically attacked him when that was completely unnecessary in every way is dumb personally.
