Merzbow Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 (edited) "Real Glass" wasn't even anything new in wrestling and AEW have arguably done stupider spots anyway, didn't Jack even get permission but then Tony S rather than any real management suddenly said no? The whole thing was overblown by concern trolls and weirdos. Anyway, Bloody Saudi Cocks and all that.. Edited June 27, 2025 by Merzbow Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted June 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 27, 2025 At least it’s blood money well spent. What a lineup. Jade Cargill and Karrion Kross singles matches. Woof. Quote

Trent Baretta when talking about car glass spots said they are actually very safe because the windows are designed to cause as little damage to people as possible in a crash. You'll get some small, surface level cuts but nothing dangerous. He said he doesn’t have a single scar from either Parking Lot Brawl and he was bumping on glass like a maniac. Quote
Paid Members JLM Posted June 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 27, 2025 (edited) Asuka got a decent singles match out of 2016 Nia Jax, will be fascinating to see what she can do here. Have to watch that one. Edited June 27, 2025 by JLM Quote

He's a multi-millionaire. He didn't have to take the tube to Wembley. He just knew he'd be seen doing it and wanted to make a passive-aggressive point. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted June 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 27, 2025 (edited) It’s the Karrion Krossers I worry about. The amount they’ve been campaigning for him to get a push, it’s going to be funny when he delivers the inevitable stinker. Edited June 27, 2025 by Supremo Quote

He’s had decent matches outside of WWE, so he clearly has it in him to at least perform reasonably well against the right opponent. I won’t be watching, but I hope he holds up his end of the bargain. If he does - and, crucially, continues to do so - he could bring something interesting to the upper card. Edited June 27, 2025 by RedTwoster Quote
digforvictory Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 Looks like Punk was booed by the fans on the night of champions kick off show when they showed him on the big screen. Interesting to see what kind of crowd reaction he gets on Smackdown and tomorrow night at the PPV. Quote

Yes, it’s a little push, that kid isn’t hurt, physically, but I bet that kid feels it in the emotions. How many cherries are now on that cake of Punk being an absolute hypocrite? Alls forgiven now, he's lapping up the Saudis applause on the kick off show and apologized to a "fan" for his mean tweet and all the people of Saudi Arabia I will note though watching the video Orton does a little slight hand wave off too I wonder if they were filming for something WWE wise and the wee lad got into the shot. Nonetheless just take the selfie and redo Quote

d-d-d-dAz Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 I don't know how there can be anyone left taking him seriously after this. It's excruciating. I can't watch that last video, it's too cringe. Quote
