Also he seems like a good lad who really wanted this move, so I'm happy for him in that regard too. And he's flexible, too, he can play central or wide and I think Arsenal have needed more flexibility in a couple of their players. Quote

They're taking Buonanotte on loan from Brighton for the season. That feels even weirder. Bloke was at Leicester last year and heading for Leeds on loan before this. Baffling stuff. At least buy him for £25m and send him on loan 8 times. That'd be normal behaviour. Quote

My guess is they want bodies while selling some deadwood as they have to stay in the green transfers wise. Otherwise makes no sense. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted August 29, 2025 Author Members Posted August 29, 2025 Found this a really interesting read on Chelsea and their transfer dealings. https://the-correspondent-rory-smith-newsletter.beehiiv.com/p/chelsea-transfer-strategy Quote

Their an odd team, I always thought the lad they sold to Sunderland was decent. Ecriso was going to Strasbourg then Chelsea if he didn't fail a medical. You start to think are they linked some how lol. Quote

Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted August 30, 2025 Paid Members Posted August 30, 2025 Man Utd will be the death of me. I want to turn the clocks back to the 90s, when the team had some bollocks. Quote
Vegeta Posted August 30, 2025 Posted August 30, 2025 We have rebuilt quite well at Bournemouth, happy to have a good result today. Quote

Members SuperBacon Posted August 30, 2025 Author Members Posted August 30, 2025 (edited) 108 minutes must be one of the latest goals in normal time. I bet there's some game that went on for hours for "reasons" Edited August 30, 2025 by SuperBacon 108 not 118 Quote
