I thought last year being nearly half a million in the red was bad enough.
Their latest accounts have been produced and they now owe £1.1 million!

Not sure who is bankrolling this but surely they ain't ever getting that money back.

Already looking forward to May 1st, 2026 when Daddymagic gleefully informs us Progress is £1.5 million in debt.

It's slightly misleading to only call out the £1.1m as they also have a significantly higher level of debtors (over £400k, up by over £300k on prior year) due to them, so the big jump in creditors could be partially just an issue of timing on debtor receipts.  Without knowing what makes up those balances it's hard to really know.  A cleaner metric to look at would be the actual profit/loss in the year which shows around a £300k loss for last year, up from a roughly £250k loss in the prior year.  So still not good by any means but not an exponential increase as the debt number in isolation would make it seem.
