Tiffany Stratton brings nothing to the table apart from her looks.

Astonished to read that the forum Tory is also a sexist twat. Fuck off back to your watches.

I was surprised he didn't say the only thing she brought to the table was Kaiser's dinner.

Night 1 didn't tell us anything we didn't already know. It was fine but not thrilling. All the limitations I expected were there. The last match of the first half of Wrestlemania felt like a big match and delivered a WWE style main event. I did feel it was nice of WWE to show AAA what's going to happen to them in the Venti Americano v Ray Fenix match. Getting screwed over by cheating gringos. Get used to it AAA.

Imagine not liking Seth Rollins.

Another Mania MVP performance.

A triple threat with these 3 was the last think i wanted, but it would have been pretty dull if that main event was just Punk/Reigns.

If Cody wins tonight I would be moving Seth to Smackdown and getting the belt on him as soon as poss, i think its a lot more likely though that he is Jeys first challenger, hopefully he takes the participation belt off Jey really quickly.

Seth was as unwelcome as a fart in an elevator, And he's terrible. The Heyman twist made zero sense, and it was done for shock value. But it was a great match

So, to be clear, you think The Rock is capable of saving Mania, you like Rollins, you wouldn't have preferred Punk/Roman and you'd have Seth Rollins dethrone Cody Rhodes as soon as 'poss'?

No yeet.

Absolutely.

I thought I would have preferred a straight singles match but here we are.

Infact, never mind Seth going to dethrone Cody.

Dreaming of a Rock, Cena, Rollins and Heyman alliance tonight as Cena takes the belt.

I thought it was alright overall. I don't think I came out of it thinking any differently to what I was expecting going in.

Jey/Gunther was alright. Fair opener. Don't think Jey needs a long run as champion though. Will be interesting to see what they do with Gunther next.

Honestly i expected Big E or a surprise tag addition to the Raiders/New Day match otherwise it felt pretty pointless as a Mania match, so it was underwhelming when it was just played straight and they've had better matches.

Jade definitely still has an aura about her that is unquestionable but gets a bit lost in ring. She's not terrible and has enough to offer to get by but she absolutely has room to keep improving.

Jacob winning was obviously the right thing to do. Let him be dominant now.

Fenix and NotGable was decent but obviously not a Mania match but I'm not sure the original plan was any better.

Tiffy and Charlotte tried but definitely felt sloppy in places. Didn't really get into it.

Main event was good and the ending played out well even if it was predicted by some.

So yeah. To be honest i probably enjoyed NXT more overall but it was alright. I'm not going to complain about ads or commentary or whatever else. The WWE presentation is the WWE presentation. That's not changing.

I think I've got 4 seconds spare today to manage this.

Night one was decent nothing spectacular.

None of the winners surprised me, not sure if that's a good thing or not.

I preferred NXT  to this show though, It didn't feel like a Wrestlmania and I'm hoping night 2 will be.

The issue this Wrestlemania has, like quite a few of the most recent Wrestlemanias is that no matter what people say, the two night thing dilutes the card. The main event is the main event of Night 2 and CM Punk might have a tear in his eye that he finally "main evented" Wrestlemania but it was himself that called it "Night four of a buy-one-get-one-free extravanganza" and he wasn't wrong.
This show hasn't been helped by having a build that shat the bed a month or two ago, matches thrown onto the card or taken off the card at the last second, and the pressers all being about how great Vince and Donald Trump are.

I watched the Jey vs Gunther match and it was fine. Nice to see Jey do more than his usual three moves but he still has the worst spear in the company by a large margin. A deserved winner because he is a moneymaker but his time is limited as champion and his run will be more interesting for who gets it off him than him carrying it.

The rest of it I skipped through because quite frankly who cares. New Day vs the Vikings, why? Tiffy Stratton vs Charlotte was more about hoping Charlotte didn't win than it was about hoping Tiffany did. Jacob Fatu vs LA Knight, Naomi vs Jade Cargill are just Smackdown matches.
Gable vs Fenix was OK but why bother throwing Fenix out there to lose when it was obvious the plan was for Rey to win and unmask Gable? Now you have this El Grande story dragging on and the newly debuted Rey Fenix has a nice fat loss under his belt.

The Triple Threat was what it was. This "being the main event of Wrestlemania is the stakes" viewpoint doesn't wash with me sadly. The build has been good, but the ending was predictable and the stakes were nothing.

It's a 14 match card spread over two nights where you could easily drop 5 or 6 of the matches and the show would be no worse for it. At least with the last couple of years they had Cody vs Roman with a strong build and huge payoffs. This year you have Cody vs Cena with a dogshit build and the threat of The Rock turning up again. The boom period is well and truly over and we're back to skippable dross.

Rollins and Heyman's moment at night on 4am actually felt like it fed back to the break up of the Shield all those years ago.

When the Shield originally fractured, it was Rollins, the one trying to keep the hot head and the egotistical future beast together, who eventually became plan B because as the architect, he had the brains to see the bigger picture.

Heyman saw his bigger picture. Reigns does limited dates, Punk is made of glass and has limited time left realistically. Reigns even mentioned his retirement date this week or along those lines in an interview if I remember right.

Heyman has spent months trying to keep his two sons from killing each other, using him as a pawn in their game, and both getting frustrated with him.

Why not go to plan B and leave the two bickering children to focus on making money with the youngest (?), hungriest person who will work all year giving you more chance to make money (from a storyline perspective) but also isn't afraid of stepping on his bloodlines toes or pissing off The Rock in search of gold?

It does potentially leave Rollins being a second fiddle to Cena the way he was to Orton back then, but being second fiddle to the GOAT who can leave it all on a platter for you? Or go after Jey and the Bloodline who turned their back on The Rock to really hold all the power? It could be great TV.

Rollins was an architect, and eventually brought down The Shield from within. Heyman is a wise man who saw their was something potentially more outside his guys.

It could be storytelling done simple. They could absolutely piss it up the river and make it convoluted.

The only potential guarantee is at least 1 quote response to this is going to tell me I'm absolutely wrong.

I loved the main event, and I wasn't that keen on a triple threat either. The type of thing that WWE do so well. The Heyman turn was obvious but it was still great.

Rest of the show was alright. Plenty of title changes. It was never going to be much more, the night 2 card has almost all the interesting matches. This was just a bunch of undercard matches with a main event.

I thought that main event was great! Absolutely silly, entertaining bollocks that had me grinning all the way through. Each man had his working boots on and I loved it.

Skipped the tag match and US title match, but everything else was really good as well, and was made up for Jey Uso.

The presentation and entrances were great and skipping through meant I got through it all in around 2 hours.

Decent Easter Sunday morning.

Best bit was Bret rolling his eyes at Triple H after he shook his hand though. Never change champ.
